Quick Match Results
- Konosuke Takeshita defeated “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington via T Trigger (pinfall)
- Prior to the start of the match, Don Callis came out for guest commentary.
- Following the match, Don Callis entered the ring and praised Billington for his effort against Takeshita. Callis then offered a spot in his Don Callis Family group to Billington, who rejected the offer telling Callis to “kiss my ass.” This led to Callis & Takeshita attacking Billington and Kyle Fletcher running out to join in on the attack. This then led to FTR running out to save Billington and cleared the ring of the Don Callis Family.
- Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson & The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn) defeated Shawn Moore, Michael Allen Richard Clark, & London Lighting via 3:10 To Yuma (pinfall)
- Colten Gunn pinned Lightning after The Gunns hit the 3:10 To Yuma to Clark give Bang Bang Gang the victory.
- Following the match, the Bang Bang Gang talked about Jay White being injured at the hands of Christian Cage and anointed Robinson as an official Unified AEW World Trios Champion to replace White. After some words by Robinson, Interim EVP Christopher Daniels came out and voided the BBG’s attempted at invoking the Freebird Rule and stripped them of their titles due to White’s injury. This led to The Patriarchy coming out and Christian Cage saying that was the right call to make and claimed they would be handed the titles. Daniels responded back making a match between the BBG and The Patriarchy for the vacant titles at a future date. The BBG challenged The Patriarchy to hold the match tonight while Cage responded back bashing Calgary and not being interested.
- ROH World Championship #1 Contender match – Roderick Strong defeated Dalton Castle via End of Heartache (pinfall)
- Prior to the start of the match, The Outrunners came out filling in as The Boys for Castle while The Undisputed Kingdom’s Matt Taven & Mike Bennett came out with Strong to be in their respective corners.
- Nyla Rose defeated Ava Lawless via Beast Bomb (pinfall)
- Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) defeated Shane Taylor Promotions (Anthony Ogogo & Lee Moriarty) via Modified F-5 (pinfall)
- Prior to the start of the match, Action Andretti came out with Top Flight and Shane Taylor came out with Ogogo & Moriarty to be in their respective corners.
- Darius pinned Moriarty after hitting a modified F-5 to give Top Flight the victory.
- Following the match, Taylor and STP attacked Top Flight & Action Andretti laying them out in the ring.
- Skye Blue defeated Harley Cameron via Modified Guillotine Choke (submission)
- Prior to the start of the match, Saraya came out with Cameron to be in her corner.
- The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) defeated The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy & Kyle O’Reilly) via Hail Mary (pinfall)
- Prior to the start of the match, The Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong came out to the announcer’s table for guest commentary.
- Near the end of the match, Strong left the announcer’s table and headed towards the ring and got up on the apron leading to the referee getting distracted. This led to Tomohiro Ishii running out and yanked Strong off the apron and brawled with him while Trrent Beretta ran out from the crowd and attacked Cassidy on the outside while the referee was not looking. In the ring, Undisputed Kingdom attacked O’Reilly and hit the Hail Mary for the pinfall victory.
- Following the match, Beretta berated Cassidy and told him to see what he was going to do next. Beretta then went into the ring and attacked O’Reilly leading to Taven & Bennett shoving Beretta away and telling him that O’Reilly is their friend. While Beretta was distracted with Undisputed Kingdom, Cassidy got back into the ring with a monkey wrench and struck Beretta laying him out. This led to Undisputed Kingdom staring down Cassidy & O’Reilly and left the ring only to get quickly laid out by Ishii. Ishii went into the ring to celebrate with Cassidy and O’Reilly.
FTR Makes Surprise Return at Saturday’s AEW Collision Show
Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured FTR’s Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood making their surprise return and Harwood making his surprise return from injury.
Following Konosuke Takeshita’s victory over “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington, Don Callis went into the ring and offered some words of praise for his effort against Takeshita. Callis offered a spot in his Don Callis Family group to Billington. After giving it some thought, Bllington rejected Callis’ offer resulting in Takeshita, Callis, and Kyle Fletcher attacking Billington in return. This led to FTR making their surprise return and ran out to save Billington and cleared the ring of the Don Callis Family.

This was FTR’s first appearance in AEW since the June 8th AEW Collision show.
Bang Bang Gang Stripped of Unified AEW Trios Titles at Saturday’s Collision Show
Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured the Bang Bang Gang being officially stripped of their Unified AEW Trios Championship.
Following the Bang Bang Gang’s victory over a team of jobbers in a Trios match, Colten Gunn grabbed a microphone and stated that Jay White was injuired by Christian Cage last week. Gunn invoked the Freebird Rule and proclaimed that Juice Robinson is now a World Trios Champion for the group going forward. Robinson responded stating that he should have been anointed when they told him to last time. Robinson then stated you are now looking at the World Trios Champions. This led to Interim EVP Christopher Daniels coming out stating that when someone is injured, you can no have someone else defend the titles. Daniels stated that due to White’s injury, he has no choice but to strip the Bang Bang Gang of their Unified Trios titles.

This led to Cage’s music playing and Cage and the rest of The Patriarchy coming out. After some sports-based insults directed at the Calgary crowd, Cage stated that the right call was made to strip the Bang Bang Gang of their titles and make The Patriarchy the new champs. Daniels responded ignoring Cage’s claims and stated that there will be a match between the Bang Bang Gang and The Patriarchy for the newly vacant Unified World Trios titles at a later date. The Bang Bang Gang responded stating why wait when they can fight right now in Calgary. Cage responded mocking the Calgary crowd saying there is no way they will do it in Calgary and claimed they will become the new champions.

Roderick Strong Wins Shot at ROH World Title for ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024
Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured Roderick Strong defeating Dalton Castle in a #1 Contender match for the ROH World Championship.
Roderick Strong has picked up the win and now moves on to face Mark Briscoe for the #ROH World Title at Death Before Dishonor!

As a result of his victory, Strong will officially challenge Mark Briscoe for the ROH World title at ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024, which takes place on July 26th at the Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas.

New Vignette Airs for Mystery Masked “Hologram” Wrestler at Saturday’s AEW Collision Show
Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured a new vignette aired hyping up the upcoming debut of a new masked “hologram” wrestler.
At the end of the video, a text message flashed revealing that this new mystery wrestler will be officially debuting at next week’s show.
It looks like we’ll be finding out more about this mysterious competitor very soon!
