AEW: Britt Baker Appearance Set for 7/3 Dynamite Show, AEW Confirms Date & Location for Grand Slam 2024, Former WWE Talent Backstage at Forbidden Door 2024

Britt Baker Appearance Announced for This Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Show

As noted before, Britt Baker made her surprise return from injury at Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 event at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York.

AEW CEO Tony Khan announced that Baker will be making an appearance at this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

This will be Baker’s first appearance on AEW Dynamite since September of 2023.


AEW Officially Confirms Date & Location for Grand Slam 2024

As noted before, AEW is expected to be holding this year’s Grand Slam event on September 25th at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, Queens, New York.

During Sunday’s Forbidden Door 2024 event, AEW officially confirmed that this year’s Grand Slam event will be taking place on September 25th at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. It was also confirmed that this year’s event will be held as a double set of AEW Dynamite and Collision tapings that night.

It was also announced that the pre-sale officially started on Sunday while tickets for the general public will go on sale starting on July 18th.


Former WWE Talent Dijak Attended Forbidden Door 2024 Event

As noted before, Dijak’s contract with WWE expired this past Friday and he is currently a free agent.

Dijak revealed on Twitter on Sunday that he was in attendance at AEW and NJPW’s Forbidden Door 2024 event in Long Island, New York.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources confirmed that Dijak was backstage at AEW’s event. Johnson reported that former WWE personality Matt Camp was also in attendance backstage at the event as well.
