Nicholas Jackson Comments on Jack Perry Feeling Fine Following Controversial Chair Shot Spot in Blood & Guts Match
This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts 2024 show in Nashville, Tennessee featured Team AEW defeated The Elite in a Blood & Guts match. This match was notable for featuring a controversial spot involving Mark Briscoe giving an unprotected chair shot to Jack Perry’s head while Perry was handcuffed to the cage.
Sports Illustrated held a recent interview with the Young Bucks. One of the topics discussed included Nicholas Jackson providing an update on Perry stating that he was feeling fine after the match.
“All I know is Jack is fine, and that’s all that matters. We know the risk we’re taking in the ring and it wouldn’t have happened if he wasn’t prepared for it.”
In the interview, Justin Barrasso reported that his sources within AEW confirmed that the chair used for the spot was gimmicked and not a regular steel chair.
