Solo Sikoa Officially Anoints Tanga Loa Into The Bloodline

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show featured Solo Sikoa officially anointing Tanga Loa into The Bloodline.

During the show, The Bloodline came out to the ring and Paul Heyman grabbed a microphone for an introductory speech stating that Solo is still in charge of the Bloodline while Roman Reigns is out. Heyman stated that Sikoa has declared tonight to be a double proclamation. Heyman pointed towards Tama Tonga and stated that he has already been anointed by Sikoa as a fully fledged member of the Bloodline but from this moment forward, he will be known as “Tama Tonga, The Right Hand Man.” Heyman then pointed towards Loa and stated that from this moment forward, the story of The Bloodline will not be complete if you do not include the new fully fledged member of The Bloodline, the “Infamous Tanga Loa.”

Heyman then attempted to end his speech saying “thank you and good night” but before he had the chance to leave, Sikoa interrupted and asked Heyman if he is forgetting something. Sikoa stated that this is for him to thank them for saving him last week from Kevin Owens. A scared looking Heyman thanked Tama and Loa leading to Tama responding stating that they could have let Owens kill Heyman but they saved him by orders of the Tribal chief. After some more words by Heyman, Heyman stated that all he has been hearing is that Owens is looking for a piece of any member of The Bloodline. This led to Owens’ music playing and him rushing out to the ring to brawl with The Bloodline. After The Bloodline managed to gain the upper hand, the Street Profits ran out to save Owens and cleared the ring of The Bloodline.

Undisputed WWE Title I Quit Match Announced for Clash at the Castle 2024

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured the first of two new matches announced for the card of WWE Clash at the Castle 2024.

This new match announced was an Undisputed WWE Championship I Quit match of AJ Styles vs. Cody Rhodes.

During the show, Rhodes was seen backstage in a very angry mood waiting for Styles to show up to get revenge over Styles attack on him last week. This led to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis trying to calm down Rhodes to no avail and afterwards got security to keep the peace between Styles and Rhodes once Styles shows up.

In a follow-up segment, Rhodes, Aldis, and WWE security were seen again backstage leading to The O.C. arriving in a van and Styles taunting Rhodes. This led to Rhodes storming his way to the ring and called for Styles to get his “ass into the ring” right now. Styles’ music played and The O.C. came out to the ramp. Styles stated that what Rhodes wants is irrelevant to him and if Rhodes wants to fight him this badly, then he wants Rhodes to give him what he wants, which he revealed to be a match for the WWE title at Clash at the Castle 2024.

Rhodes responded accepting but told Styles that this will not be a regular match and he won’t just beat him, he will make him say what he should have said last week and that is “I Quit.” Aldis asked Rhodes and Styles if they want an I Quit match, which both agreed. This led to a brawl breaking out between Styles and Rhodes that was eventually broken up by security.

In a follow-up segment, WWE commentator Corey Graves announced that this match was made official for the show.
