WWE: Asuka Knee Injury Update, Vince McMahon Banned from WWE’s New Headquarters & Gym, WWE Signs WWE Legacy Belt Licensing Deal with NHL

Asuka Knee Injury Status Update

As noted before, Asuka has been out of action for WWE since this past March due to a knee injury.

Asuka provided an update on Twitter on Wednesday posting a photo of her knee in a brace and revealed that she had recently underwent surgery to repair her knee.

Former WWE Employee Comments on Vince McMahon Being Banned from WWE’s New Headquarters and Also Gym He Helped Design

As noted before, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit this past January against TKO Executive Chairman Vince McMahon accusing McMahon of committing sex trafficking and sexual abuse towards her during her time in the company. McMahon resigned from TKO Group and WWE shortly afterwards over the fallout from this lawsuit.

A recent episode of The Insider podcast featured former WWE employee Tom Carlucci as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Carlucci revealing that McMahon is currently banned from entering WWE’s new headquarters building and also the new gym inside that he has helped design.

“He can’t even walk in the building…that’s crazy that you drive by that building [and] you got that big championship belt. He always wanted us from day one…because we were in two different buildings. We had the corporate off exit 9 and then we were right down the street from the corporate office. Our big production studio. He always wanted us under one roof. That was his dream to have us under one roof. The dream came and he’s not even a part of it anymore.

The gym was created for Vince. He designed the gym with his trainer Mike, who I know really well. He can’t even go in that gym anymore. He can’t step foot anywhere. Every meeting that goes on over there — you’ll never see Vince here again, from the TKO people. It is crazy when you think about it that he’s the legacy.”
