More on 2 Cold Scorpio’s Arrest Over Stabbing Incident Earlier This Month
As noted before, former WWE, WCW, and ECW wrestler 2 Cold Scorpio, real name Charles Scaggs, was arrested earlier this month over a stabbing incident in Kansas City, Missouri.
Post Wrestling’s John Pollock reported that he had obtained the probable cause statement form from the Clay County, Missouri’s Prosecutor’s Office in regards to the incident involving Scagg’s arrest.
Pollock reported that two of the stab wounds to the victim’s chest were described to be “six to seven inches and the other three to four inches.”
The victim reportedly told police that he entered the store to withdraw money from the ATM and was confronted by Scaggs as he was exiting about smoking inside. The victim reportedly also stated that he pushed Scaggs away when he got too close and claimed that Scaggs attacked him and he had began to defend himself.
Scaggs reportedly had told police that he was doing his rounds and saw the victim smoking inside and provided a warning. Scagg claimed that the victim responded back in an angry manner and threatened to kill him if he touched him. Scaggs also reportedly stated that the victim had threatened to knock him out and had attempted to grapple with him. Scaggs reportedly had stated that he was reaching for his brass knuckles in his pocket but reached his knife instead and took it out in a defensive stance and warned the victim to “back up.” In regards to the stabbing, Scaggs reportedly stated that he “probably stabbed him a couple of times as he was punching and using the knife at the same time to get away from the victim.”
Scaggs reportedly also stated that the managers came out and sent him inside to clean up and the altercations lasted about six to seven minutes.
Pollock reported that the Prosecutor’s Office statement stated that the victim acknowledged that during both exchanges, the victim had initiated the altercations.
VIC1 (Victim #1) stated during both exchanges VIC1 had initiated the altercations. SUS1 (Suspect #1) stated VIC1 had stated to him that “I’m a fuck you up, I’m thirty years younger then (sic) you. I’m thirty you’re like sixty years old” prior to the incident.
Pollock also reported that the end of the statement noted that “Due to the violent nature of this incident Charles Scaggs should be considered a danger to the public.”
