TNA Knockouts World Title Open Challenge Match Announced For June 28th TNA Impact! Tapings

TNA Wrestling announced earlier today one new match for the card of their TNA Impact! Night 1 tapings on June 28th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This new match announced was a TNA Knockouts World Championship Open Challenge match of mystery opponent vs. Jordynne Grace (c).


Who Killed WCW? Ratings – June 25, 2024

Tuesday’s series finale episode of Who Killed WCW? drew 124,000 viewers on VICE TV, down from last week’s 148,000 viewers.

It drew a 0.05 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down from last week’s 0.06 rating. The key demographic ranking for the show is currently not known.

Former WWE talent and UFC fighter Ronda Rousey recently announced on Twitter that she is currently working on a new graphic novel titled Expecting The Unexpected.

As noted before, Nick Bollea, son of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, was arrested this past November in Florida and charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to sobriety testing following a traffic stop by police. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Bollea was sentenced by the court to a year of probation, will be placed on an alcohol monitoring system for the first 120 days of his probation, and was fined $1000 based on recent court records. Johnson reported that Bollea had apologized to the Clearwater Police Department and the court for his actions. Bollea reportedly can request a release from his probation after serving six months first.

Ace Steel’s Elbow Group LLC filed a trademark for “Harley Race” on June 25th for wrestling and merchandise-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

DDT Pro Wrestling recently announced that Kazusada Higuchi will be out of action for the company for the foreseeable future due to him currently dealing with a cervical hernia injury. It was announced that Higuchi made the decision to take a break from wrestling in order to fully focus on recovering from his lingering injury issues.

As noted before, former WWE, WCW, and ECW wrestler 2 Cold Scorpio, real name Charles Scaggs, was arrested earlier this month over a stabbing incident in Kansas City, Missouri. DDT recently announced that 2 Cold Scorpio was recently pulled from his scheduled bookings for Game Changer Wrestling’s upcoming co-promoted tour of Japan this August due to issues related to his recent arrest.

GCW recently announced that this year’s Backyard Wrestling event, GCW Backyard Wrestling 6, will be taking place on July 4th at an undisclosed location of “Backyard USA.”

House of Glory recently announced that former Reality of Wrestling talent Zilla Fatu will be making his official debut for the company at their High Intensity 2024 event on July 26th in Jamaica, New York.

Former WWE and TNA talent Cassie Lee and current WWE NXT talent Shawn Spears recently announced on Instagram the birth of their second child. Lee announced that her new child named Harley Dean was born on June 21st.

As noted before, former wrestler Tammy Sytch was sentenced to over 17 years in prison this past November following her being convicted of the charges against her over a fatal car accident involving Sytch in March of 2022. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the civil lawsuit filed by Jana Olivova against Lynch was settled on June 19th based on recent court records. Johnson reported that Olivova had filed a voluntary dismissal motion on June 20th to the court due to her lawsuit being settled for an undisclosed monetary amount.

Major League Wrestling recently announced one new match for the card of their Blood & Thunder 2024 event on July 12th in St. Petersburg, Florida:
