Goldberg Comments “I Love You, Don’t Be Such A Prick, And Grow Up” Message to Bret Hart

A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured WWE Hall of Famer and former WCW wrestler Bill Goldberg as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Goldberg’s thoughts about Bret Hart’s longtime issues with him in relation to VICE TV’s Who Killed WCW? docuseries.

“The Bret Hart thing, it just saddens me as a human being. That’s all. First and foremost, I would never wish ill will upon any opponent or anyone like that. To have an accident like that happen and end someone’s career, especially someone who’s one of the best that ever was, 100%, it sucks. I’m not asking anybody to understand, I’m just saying, just leave me alone, dude. [Laughs].”

Goldberg also gave his thoughts about the warning he gave to Hart about his infamous kick spot during their match at Starrcade ’99 that led to being a career ender for Hart.

“The Bret Hart thing, it just saddens me as a human being. That’s all. First and foremost, I would never wish ill will upon any opponent or anyone like that. Jeff Hardy Broken Nose Injury Update – Hardy Cleared for In-Ring Return

As noted before, former AEW talent Jeff Hardy made his surprise return to TNA Wrestling at this past Friday’s Against All Odds 2024 event in Cicero, Illinois. Hardy has been out of action since this past February due to a broken nose injury.

In a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Hardy provided an update on his broken nose injury stating that he has been medically cleared for an in-ring return but will need to wear a mask to protect his nose.

“I am cleared to wrestle again with a broken nose mask.”

Hardy also gave his thoughts about his recent return to TNA and the support he has received from fans throughout his career.

“With me and things that have happened in my personal life, I’ve had to rebuild things over and over again. I’m very excited about rebuilding this time, not to burn it down, talking about my career and my existence. When I think about (CM) Punk, I always say he’s such a superpower. I had that superpower at one point in my life. I’m rebuilding to get it back because I have an amazing connection with the fans, as everybody knows, and I have to prove to myself and them that there is a little light inside of me that is going to shine brighter than ever.”

Rossy Ogawa on IYO SKY Competing for Marigold is “Sign of the Significance of Our Existence”

As noted before, WWE talent IYO SKY made a surprise video appearance at Marigold’s Grand Opening Wars 2024 event last week in Tokyo, Japan. SKY will be competing in a match against Utami Hayashishita at Marigold’s Summer Destiny 2024 event next month in Tokyo.

Marigold owner Rossy Ogawa recently reflected on Twitter about the importance of IYO SKY’s upcoming match for his company and how it is a “sign of the significance of our existence.”

“Iyo Sky’s participation in the Ryogoku Kokugikan was something we really wanted to do when we decided on this event. The fact that we were able to invite a superstar from the world’s largest organization is a sign to the world of the significance of Marigold’s existence. Within one day of Iyo’s announcement, 600 more tickets were sold. The Shimi vs. Iyo match is the best match of the year, right up there with the best matches of the year.”
