Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 event at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York featured AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling officially announcing that they will be holding a new co-promoted event in Japan in January of 2025.
This upcoming event is called Wrestle Dynasty and will be taking place on January 5, 2025 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
This upcoming event was also announced to be featuring Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, Stardom, and Ring of Honor as well.

This will be the first time that AEW will be holding a pay-per-view event in Japan and the first time AEW and NJPW will be holding a Forbidden Door style event in Japan as well.
