AEW held a new television taping for AEW Collision on Thursday at the PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
This taping will be for this Saturday’s episode on June 22nd.
In regards to notable moments from the tapings, one new match was officially announced for the card of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 event, which takes place on June 30th at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. This new match announced was a Trios match of The Learning Tree (Chris Jericho, Big Bill, & “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith) vs. Samoa Joe, HOOK, & Katsuyori Shibata.

- AEW International Championship match – Will Ospreay (c) defeated Brian Cage by pinfall via Hidden Blade.
- Samoa Joe, HOOK, & Katsuyori Shibata defeated The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ari Daivari, & Josh Woods)
- “Timeless” Toni Storm, Mariah May defeated “Legit” Leyla Hirsch & Lady Frost by pinfall via Storm Zero
- The Patriarchy (Killswitch, Nick Wayne, & Christian Cage) defeated The Iron Savages (Boulder, Bronson, & Jacked Jameson). Cage was on guest commentary at first and later joined in on the match.
- The Learning Tree (Chris Jericho & Big Bill) defeated Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy). Near the end of the match, “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith interfered to help give The Learning Tree the victory. Following the match, The Learning Tree continued their attack on Private Party leading to Samoa Joe, HOOK, & Katsuyori Shibata running out for the save. Joe grabbed a microphone and issued a challenge to the Learning Tree for a Trios match at Forbidden Door 2024.
- House of Black (Brody King & Malakai Black) defeated LSG & MSG. Following the match, AEW/ROH commentator Ian Riccaboni gave a post-match interview asking HoB how they felt about Buddy Matthews getting hurt last week. Black stated that was a human question and walked off. King responded stating that they feel nothing.
- Hechihero defeated “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard
- AEW Continental Championship Eliminator match – Kazuchika Okada defeated Ultimo Guerrero by pinfall via Rainmaker. Okada was stated to have hit Guerrero so hard with his Rainmaker that Guerrero’s mask flew off.
