Bryan Danielson Comments on His Praise of Jon Moxley & “There Is No One Like Him”
Sports Illustrated held a recent interview with Bryan Danielson. One of the topics discussed included Danielson’s thoughts about his praise of Jon Moxley
“To me, he is among the very best in the world. I’m super proud of Mox. But it’s less pride I feel, and more admiration.”
Danielson also gave his thoughts about Moxley’s impact on AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling’s current working relationship and his current belief that there is no one else like Moxley in pro wrestling.
“Mox did this, he created this. He has a mindset unlike anyone else. There will never be another Jon Moxley. There is no one like him.
I admire what he’s been able to do. I admire the risks he’s taken and the performances he puts in every single time he goes out there.”

In a recent interview with The Hull Show podcast, Bryan Danielson gave his thoughts about if he gets more enjoyment out of wrestling or contributing creatively for his current wrestling career in AEW. Danielson stated “I like both. The physical experience of wrestling is unlike anything else. I love it. Love it, love it, love it. You start to realize that your body can only take so much. That’s where I almost prefer doing the backstage stuff now because, the repercussions….it’s rewarding; I love seeing people I work with excel. There is nothing better than helping somebody and then they go out there and they do something awesome and seeing how happy they are when they come back from an amazing match or an amazing promo. They come back and you see the fire in their eyes. ‘Yeah, that’s it.’ That’s where it’s at for me now. I still love going out and wrestling. There is a certain joy that can’t be replicated anywhere else. Now, what really inspires me or what I shoot for, is how do I make AEW better. How can I contribute to AEW and contribute to the younger stars that we have and help make them better or help them get to where they want to be. Wrestling can’t be taught, but it can be learned. Giving them the tools so they can learn how to do this thing that they love too.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

As far as when the contract ends, that’s nobody’s business but my own.“
