Update on Dana White’s Comments About WWE PLEs Moving Back to Sundays
As noted before, UFC President Dana White stated during this past Saturday’s UFC Fight Night post-show press conference that WWE will be moving their Premium Live Events back to Sundays within the near future.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the general reaction within WWE was one of surprise over White’s comments. One source spoken to stated “Dana threw us all for a loop on an already busy day with that one.”
Meltzer reported that WWE officials have yet to clarify White comments regarding the status of their PLEs events and TKO’s plans for Power Slap, UFC, and WWE events taking place on the same weekend.
New Bo Dallas & Uncle Howdy QR Codes & Video Teasers Appear Following WWE Twitch Channel Hacking
As noted before, this past Monday’s WWE RAW show featured a new QR code video teaser for Bo Dallas and Uncle Howdy’s upcoming return to WWE that hinted at an announcement being made on Thursday, May 16th.
This announcement was revealed to be in the form of WWE’s Twitch account being “hacked” on Thursday and a video being uploaded featuring the former Therapist of “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, who had been pronounced as a “missing person” in a photo shown in the previous QR code teaser.
This video also featured several new QR codes that when scanned reveal previous videos and clues and a note being handed to the therapist from her client. Near the end of the video, the therapist stated that she is going to leave a list of questions for the client to answer before leaving the room. When answering the “How do you feel?” question, the client responds “I finally know my purposes and soon everyone will see.” The video ends with the client asking the therapist “do you want to meet them?” The therapist responds back asking “Who is them? Who are these people?” and the video shows the missing person photo of the therapist.

Gunther Comments on Being “More Than Up” for Potential Future WWE Match Against Brock Lesnar
As noted before, WWE dropped all of their plans for Brock Lesnar’s potential return to the company due to his involvement in the recent Vince McMahon sex trafficking lawsuit. One of those dropped plans involved a potential match between Lesnar and Gunther for Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40, which was changed to Sami Zayn facing off against Gunther instead.
The Daily Mail held a recent interview with Gunther. One of the topics discussed included Gunther’s thoughts about the reports about WWE having plans at time for a match between him and Lesnar at WrestleMania 40.
“Of course, I heard something about it [rumors he was going to face Lesnar at WrestleMania 40]. I always saw Brock as my final boss. I always get portrayed as that, as the NXT UK Champion, the Intercontinental Champion, I was like the final boss of that division. And Brock, for a long time, was the final boss of the whole company. So I always saw myself in my future to be in a similar position to him, and to be that you’ve got to get in the ring with that guy.
We’ll see if there’s a chance for it to happen again. I’m more than up for it. How the situation is exactly right now, I’m really not that informed about it, to be honest. I think we had that one face-off in the Royal Rumble, the reaction that was there and that was a confirmation for me.”
