Braun Strowman defeated JD McDonagh via Tilt-A-Whirl Powerslam (pinfall)
- Near the end of the match, Carlito ran out trying to interfere in the match only to get quickly laid out by Strowman on the apron.
- Following the match, Carlito and Finn Balor attacked Strowman who quickly shrugged it off and cleared the ring of them. This led to McDonagh attacking Strowman from behind with a chair which Strowman also shrugged off to a shocked reaction by McDonagh. Strowman then cleared the ring of Strowman and chased Judgement Day & Carlito to the back.
Ricochet defeated Ilja Dragunov via Disqualification
- Near the end of the match, Bron Breakker ran out from the crowd and hit a spear to Ricochet resulting in the the referee calling for the bell.
- Following the match, Dragunov and Breakker briefly brawled before Breakker laid him out with a spear as WWE officials and RAW GM Adam Pearce ran out to the ring. Pearce yelled at Breakker and continued doing so while Breakker was walking towards the back before saying something that caused Breakker to stop a bit and stared at Pearce before continuing his walk.
Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) defeated The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) via What A Rush (pinfall)
- Prior to the start of the match, Ivy Nile came out alongside the Creed Bros and Scarlett, Karrion Kross, & Paul Ellering came out alongside AOP.
- Near the end of the match, Brutus went to the top rope leading to Scarlett attacked Nile on the outside causing Brutus to be distracted. This led to Akam shoving Julius into Brutus causing Brutus to fall and AOP followed it with hitting the What A Rush to Brutus for the pinfall victory.
Lyra Valkyria defeated Kairi Sane via Crucifix Pin (pinfall)
- Near the end of the match, Sane went to the top rope and attempted an Insane Elbow only for Valkyria to counter putting both of her feet up. Valkyria followed it by catching Sane in a Crucifix roll-up for the pinfall victory.
Rey Mysterio defeated Carlito via Dropping Da Dime (pinfall)
- Prior to the start of the match, the LWO’s Zelina Vega and Dragon Lee came out alongside Mysterio. In a bit of a funny note, Samantha Irvin accidentally called Lee as “Cruz Del Toro” for his intro.
- Near the end of the match, Finn Balor ran out and attacked Lee resulting in Mysterio laying out Balor with a seated Senton from the apron.
- Following the match, Balor attacked Mysterio and Lee leading to a brawl breaking out and Judgement Day’s Damian Priest running out to help Balor and laid out Mysterio in the end.
Bronson Reed defeated Otis via Tsunami (pinfall)
- Near the end of the match, Chad Gable got on the apron and yelled at Otis telling him to knock off trying to do the catipilar and start taking things seriously. Otis listened at first but then changed his mind leading to Gable yelling at Otis again. This gave Reed enough time to recover and hit a superkick laying out Otis and followed it with a Tsumani for the pinfall victory.
- Following the match, Gable went into the ring and grabbed a microphone demanding for Otis to get back into the ring and for the rest of Alpha Academy to come out since he wanted to hold a meeting right now. Gable told Otis that he was disappointed and it was time for some disciplined and took off his belt and told Otis to hold onto the rope. Before Gable to strike Otis, Maxxine Dupri grabbed onto his arm to stop him. Gable then yelled at Dupri and told her to leave right now. Before Gable could try to hit Otis again, Sami Zayn’s music played interrupting Gable. After some banter between Gable and Zayn, Zayn grabbed Gable’s belt and gave some words of encouragement to Otis to leave Gable before Gable attacked Zayn laying him out in the end.
WWE Women’s World Championship Steel Cage match – Liv Morgan (c) defeated Becky Lynch via Cage Door Escape
- Near the end of the match, Dominik Mysterio ran out and opened the cage door yelling at Lynch to get out. This led to Judgement Day’s Finn Balor & McDonagh running out and confronted Mysterio asking him what he is doing. This then led to Strowman running out and chased McDongah and Balor around the ring. While Strowman was running around the ring, he shoved Mysterio into the cage door as Lynch was trying to escape causing Lynch to get hit and sent back into the ring. This provided the opportunity for Morgan to crawl out of the cage door for the victory to retain her title.

Gunther Gives 1st RAW Speech as King of the Ring Winner & Calls Out Damian Priest

Monday’s WWE RAW show featured Gunther giving his first speech on RAW as this year’s King of the Ring winner.

During the start of the show, Ludwig Kaiser was standing in the ring with the spotlight shining on him and the rest of the venue darkened out. Kaiser welcomed everyone to their new King of the Ring Gunther leading to Gunther coming out to the ring holding his crown for his first official RAW speech as King Gunther.

Gunther talked about his victory over Randy Orton at Saturday’s King of the Ring Finals and he is now the rightful King of the Ring. Gunther stated that he has earned the opportunity to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. Gunther proceeded to brag about how he took the Intercontinental Championship that he claimed lacked prestige until he won it and became the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all-time. Gunther also stated that the King of the Ring tournament also lacked prestige until he raised it to levels and heights never seen before. Gunther then stated that the World Heavyweight Championship is also lacking prestige because the current champion won it by taking a shortcut.

This led to Priest’s music interrupting and came out to the ring to confront Gunther. Priest responded to Gunther’s claims about how he won the title and mocked Gunther for thinking that he really earned a shot at his title over the controversial way he defeated Orton and Gunther proved nothing. Priest stated that if Gunther wants a pat on the back, he will get it and if he wants to take credit for something, he can take credit for costing Orton a shot at his title.Priest stated that he cashed in because he earned a briefcase in a Ladder match and that is how that works. Priest then stated that he cashed in just like others have before him and that is how that works. Priest stated “does Gunther get how the business around here works?” and can teach him a lesson. Gunther responded stating he does not care what Priest thinks of this and he will focus on facts. Gunther stated that the fact is he is the King of the Ring and if Priest is still champion at SummerSlam, then he will face him for the title. After some more words about teaching Priest about this great sport, Gunther stated that Priest can either give him a business lesson before SummerSlam and address him as “King” or he can give it after SummerSlam and address him as “World Heavyweight Champion.”

After some words in response by Priest, Drew McIntyre’s music played interrupting Gunther and Priest and made his way to the ring. McIntyre proceeded to mock CM Punk just to get things out of the way over the crowd chanting for Punk. Before McIntyre could continue, Gunther quickly left the ring leading to McIntyre and Priest having their own promo battle over their upcoming title match at next month’s Clash at the Castle 2024 event.

Adam Pearce Announces Bron Breakker “Fined and Suspended” Over Last Week’s Attacks

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured RAW General Manager Adam Pearce revealing that Bron Breakker had been suspended by him over his actions last week.

During the show, Ricochet was in the medical room being checked on by a WWE doctor who stated that he is medically cleared for action tonight. Pearce walked in and apologized for what Breakker did to him last week which led to Ricochet stating that he wants Breakker in a match tonight to get some revenge. Pearce responded stating that he can not grant him that since he had fined and suspended Breakker for his attacks last week to his opponent after his match and to Ricochet afterwards. Pearce stated that Ricochet will have to wait instead.

Ilja Dragunov showed up and talked about how he could have been in Ricochet’s place had Ricochet not shoved him away before Breakker’s attack last week. Dragunov stated that when Ricochet feels better, he wants a match with him. Ricochet responded stating why wait since they can do it tonight since he still wants a match. Dragunov responded stating that he does not want to face broken people since that is what he does to his opponents. Ricochet responded back stating that he ready to go which led to Pearce making their match official for tonight.

In a follow-up segment, Breakker ran out from the crowd during Ricochet’s match with Dragunov and attacked Ricochet resulting in a disqualification ending. Following the match, Pearce ran out to the ring with WWE officials and started yelling at Breakker for what he did. Pearce continued yelling at Breakker as Breakker made his way to the back until he said something that made Breakker pause a bit and gave an angry stare at Pearce before continuing his walk.

In another follow-up segment, Pearce was seen backstage berating Breakker about his latest attack before storming off with Kiana James stating he needs a drink in his office.
