WWE COO Brad Blum Reportedly Tendered Resignation from Company

WWE Chief Operating Office Brad Blum reportedly is departing soon from the company, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Dave Meltzer reported that his sources stated that Blum had tendered his resignation on May 1st and that this was his decision and not him being forced out of the company by anyone.

Prior to his departure, Meltzer reported that Blum had been one of the three most powerful executives in WWE, alongside WWE President Nick Khan and WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

Meltzer reported that Blum had been very close to now former WWE owner and TKO Executive Chairman Vince McMahon during their time together in the company. Blum reportedly had been McMahon’s Chief of Staff since he first joined WWE in 2006.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources confirmed Meltzer’s report about Blum’s resignation from WWE.

Johnson reported that Blum’s official departure date from WWE is currently not known.

Johnson also reported that Blum had originally departed from WWE in 2022 following McMahon’s initial retirement over the sexual misconduct and “hush money” payments allegations against him at the time. Blum returned to WWE shortly following McMahon’s return in December of 2022 to start the eventual sale of the company to Endeavor.

Johnson also reported that Blum had always been considered first and foremost a “McMahon Guy” and several people spoken to within WWE stated that they had wondered if his exit from the company was potentially done in advance of McMahon potentially launching a new professional venture.

Blum was one of the Corporate Offices listed but unidentified in Janel Grant’s sex trafficking lawsuit against McMahon this past January. Blum was later identified publicly as being “Corporate Officer #2” along with Khan being identified as “Corporate Officer #1.”
