WWE: Becky Lynch Contract Reportedly Expires Soon, Dana White on WWE PLEs Moving Back to Sundays, LA Knight & Tiffany Stratton Advance in King & Queen of the Ring 2024

Becky Lynch WWE Contract Status Update – Lynch’s Contract Reportedly Expiring Soon

As noted before, Becky Lynch’s contract with WWE is currently set to expire this June.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that Lynch has yet to sign a new contract with WWE as of Saturday.

Sapp reported that Lynch and WWE officials have been in on-going talks for a potential new deal and Lynch’s current contract is still set to expire in around three weeks.

Sapp also reported that Lynch’s current contract will end shortly after WWE’s King & Queen of the Ring 2024 event on May 25th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Lynch is currently scheduled to defend her WWE Women’s World Championship at the event.


Dana White Reveals WWE Will Be Returning to Sundays for Their PLEs in Near Future

UFC held a post-show media scrum following Saturday’s UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Nascimento event in St. Louis, Missouri.

One of the topics discussed by UFC President Dana White included White revealing that WWE will be moving back to Sundays for their Premium Live Events within the near future.

“We already have those dates set up right now where Power Slap goes Friday and UFC goes Saturday. You’re going to see Friday, Power Slap, Saturday, UFC, and Sunday, WWE. You’ll start seeing that stuff too.”

LA Knight Advances in King of the Ring 2024 & Tiffany Stratton Advances in Queen of the Ring 2024 at Saturday’s House Show Event

Saturday’s WWE house show event in Chattanooga, Tennessee featured one King of the Ring 2024 and one Queen of the Ring 2024 First Round tournaments matches.

In regards to the King of the Ring 2024, LA Knight defeated Santos Escobar to advance to the next round of this year’s tournament. Knight will be facing off against Tama Tonga in a Quarterfinal Round match at the May 17th WWE SmackDown show in Jacksonville, Florida.

In regards to the Queen of the Ring 2024, Tiffany Stratton defeated Michin to advance to the next round of this year’s tournament. Stratton will be facing off against Bianca Belair in a Quarterfinal Round match also at the May 17th WWE SmackDown show in Jacksonville.
