NJPW Announces SANADA Medically Cleared for In-Ring Return
As noted before, SANADA has been out of action for New Japan Pro Wrestling since late April due to an illness.
NJPW provided an update on Monday stating that SANADA was recently medically cleared and is currently training for an in-ring return in the near future.

SANADA, who has been absent from matches since April 27 in Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall due to a health concern, has undergone evaluation at a Tokyo hospital and deemed medically cleared. SANADA will be working toward a return to the ring in the near future.

Marigold announced that they drew an attendance of 1,539 for their Marigold Fields Forever debut event at the Korakuen Hall on Tokyo, Japan.
Marigold also announced on Twitter that WWE talents Akira Tozawa, Kairi Sane, and IYO SKY were among the people who sent flowers to the company in celebration of their debut event.
Josh Barnett recently announced on Twitter that the next Game Changer Wrestling’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, event, Bloodsport XI, will be taking place on July 28th in Brooklyn, New York.
European indies wrestler “Bad Jones” John Klinger passed away on Monday at the age of 40. Klinger’s passing was first announced by Westside Xtreme Wrestling on Twitter who stated “We say goodbye to “Bad Bones” John Klinger. John Klinger was one of the defining wrestlers at wXw for over a decade. He won all of the major titles at wXw and won both 16 Carat Gold and Shortcut to the Top. In his almost 450 matches in the wXw ring, he always worked hard and did his best to excite his fans. At just 40 years old, John died far too early, shortly before his planned retirement. We wish his family and friends strength in this difficult time.” Klinger’s wrestling career spanned from 2004 to 2024 and was most known for his time in wXw. Klinger also had stints in several other notable companies including EVOLVE and TNA/Impact Wrestling. Klinger’s notable accolades and achievements included being a three-time wXw Unified World Wrestling Champion, two-time wXw World Tag Team Champion, winner of the 2008 wXw 16 Carat Gold tournament, and one-time NWA European Heavyweight Champion.
As noted before, TNA Wrestling talent Josh Alexander has been dealing with personal health issues since earlier this month. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that TNA officials are currently hopeful that Alexander will be able to make his in-ring return this June.

This past Saturday’s Crockett Cup 2024 event in Forney, Texas featured Southern 6 (Kerry Morton & Alex Taylor) defeating The Immortals (Kratos & Odinson) to be crowned the winners of this year’s Crockett Cup tag team tournament.
As noted before, former WWE NXT and Impact Wrestling talent Kimber Lee was arrested in May of 2023 following a DUI incident involving the assault of a police officer in Serbing, Florida. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Lee had waived her right to appear and is not expected to be in attendance for her scheduled pre-trial hearing this Wednesday before the Highlands County Court in Florida.
Major League Wrestling recently announced that AKIRA, 1 Called Manders, Mr. Thomas, Brett Ryan Gosselin, Joshua Bishop, and Jake Crist are the next official competitors for this year’s Battle Riot match at their Battle Riot VI event on June 1st in Atlanta, Georgia.
