AEW announced one new match for the card of Double or Nothing 2024, which takes place on May 26th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This new match announced was a singles match of Orange Cassidy vs. Trent Beretta.
This match was intitally setup over the course of recent weeks shows following Beretta and Cassidy’s bad blood issues over the Best Friends break up as a group at the hands of Beretta.
During Saturday’s AEW Collision show, Beretta issued a challenge to Cassidy for a “straight up wrestling match” at Double or Nothing 2024 as part of his insults-filled interview directed at Cassidy. Cassidy responded by attacking Beretta which was quickly broken up by security.
Trent Beretta tried to issue a challenge to Orange Cassidy for #AEWDoN. But, Cassidy heard enough!
