  1. PAC defeated Rocky Romero via Brutalizer (submission)
    • Following the match, PAC kept his Brutalizer hold on Romero as the bell kept ringing before letting go. As PAC made his way to the stage, the Lucha Brothers came out to celebrate with PAC and PAC grabbed a microphone calling out the Bang Bang Gang.
  2. Samoa Joe defeated Dom Kubrick via Muscle Buster (pinfall)
  3. RUSH defeated Isiah Kassidy via Bull’s Horns (pinfall)
  4. Willow Nightingale & Kris Statlander defeated Anna Jay & Alex Windsor via Babe With The Powerbomb (pinfall)
    • Nightingale pinned Windsor after hitting a Babe With The Powerbomb to give her team the victory.
    • Following the match, Mercedes Mone’s music played interrupting Nightingale and Statlander’s victory celebration. Mone ran out to the ring and engaged in a brawl with Nightingale and Statlander while AEW officials and security ran out to break it up.

Chris Jericho Rambles About His Upcoming FTW Title Match at Double or Nothing 2024, HOOK & Katsuyori Shibata Responds Beating Up The Learning Tree

Friday’s taped AEW Rampage show featured Chris Jericho giving a promo hyping up his upcoming FTW Championship Three-way match at AEW Double or Nothing 2024.

After some rambling about his upcoming match, Jericho started to mock Katsuyori Shibata over what happened the last time the two competed against each other leading to Jericho getting interrupted by Shibata’s music. Shibata came out and engaged in a brawl with Big Bill resulting in Shibata beating up Big Bill on his way to the back. While Shibata was beating up Big Bill, Jericho became distracted long enough for a mysterious hooded person grabbing Jericho from the barricade and locking him in a sleeper trying to drag him away as AEW security rushed out to break it up.


Thunder Rosa vs. Deonna Purrazzo Announced for AEW Double or Nothing 2024

Friday’s taped AEW Rampage show also featured one new match announced for the card of AEW Double or Nothing 2024, which takes place on May 26th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This new match announced was a singles match of Thunder Rosa vs. Deonna Purrazzo. This match was also announced to be taking place on Double or Nothing 2024’s Buy-In pre-show.

This match was initially setup over the course of recent weeks shows involving the growing bad blood issues between Purrazzo and Rosa.

During tonight’s show, Purrazzo was interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette for some words about her current issues with Rosa. Purrazzo stated that she and Rosa should settle their issues once and for all and how this match should take place when the odds are even for both of them and at the stage with the brightest lights. Purrazzo then issued a challenge to Rosa for a match at AEW Double or Nothing 2024 and for it to take place on the Buy-In pre-show.

Later in the show, AEW commentator Exaclibur stated that this match was made official for Double or Nothing 2024.
