Bryan Alvarez reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that AEW officials had originally been concerned that Allin could have suffered a broken nose injury following the thumb tacks superkicks spot with the Young Bucks. Alvarez reported that Allin had underwent a MRI test following the event and while his nose did get messed up, the results came back negative for a broken nose.
Alvarez also reported that Allin received a “clean bill of health” from his post-match medical checkup at the hospital.
Eddie Kingston Broken Leg Injury Update – Surgery Date for Kingston Reportedly Set for This July
As noted before, Eddie Kingston suffered a broken leg, torn ACL, and torn meniscus injuries at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Resurgence 2024 event earlier this month in Ontario, California.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Kingston is currently scheduled to undergo surgery to repair his torn ACL and meniscus on July 8th.
Johnson reported that Kingston had been informed by his doctors that he will likely be out of action for at least ten months for his recovery. Johnson reported that this would mean that Kingston’s current timetable for a potential in-ring return would be May of 2025 baring any setbacks.
