Wes Lee Back Injury Update – Lee Still Uncertain for Potential In-Ring Return
As noted before, Wes Lee has been out of action for WWE since this past December due to a back injury and surgery.
Lee provided an update on Instagram stating that he has been making great progression on his recovery but is still uncertain when he will potentially be able to make an in-ring return.
“Recovery update: I’m making great progress, still uncertain on when everything will be firing on all cylinders with my body, but the mind is strong. Having creative waves and I’m diving back into other outlets to create art.
Haven’t done this since ‘08 so bare with the sloppiness..hope everyone has a great and safe weekend!”
Drew McIntyre Reportedly Working Through Elbow Injury
Drew McIntyre reportedly is currently working through an injury, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that McIntyre is currently dealing with a “badly” hyperextended elbow injury but has been working through this injury for WWE’s current tour of the United Kingdom.
Johnson reported that McIntyre suffered the injury during his match against Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 earlier this month.
Johnson also reported that it is currently not known if McIntyre will end up missing any television time due to his current injury.
Gunther Return Appearance Announced for This Monday’s WWE RAW Show
WWE announced that Gunther will be making his return to their WWE RAW brand at this Monday’s RAW show in Columbus, Ohio.
This will be Gunther’s first appearance on WWE television since his Intercontinental Championship loss to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40 earlier this month.
This Monday on Raw, “The Ring General” Gunther returns.
Gunther has not been seen since losing his Intercontinental Championship to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania XL, ending his record-breaking title reign at 666 days.
