WWE World Tag Team Championship – Awesome Truth (The Miz & R-Truth) defeated DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) via Truth Crushing Finale (pinfall)
- The Miz pinned Gargano after Awesome Truth hit their double team Truth Crushing Finale to retain their titles.
New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) defeated Imperium (Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser) via UpUpDownDown (pinfall)
- Woods pinned Vinci after New Day hit their double team back breakker & top rope elbow drop finisher for the victory.
- Following the match, an upset Gunther tossed a chair and confronted Kaiser before leaving the ring. Kaiser went to Vinci trying to console him over their loss but this turned out to just be a ruse and Kaiser proceeded to attack Vinci after the two left the ring. Following an extended beatdown, Kaiser went to the back and confronted Gunther saying that he got the job done.
Sheamus defeated Shinsuke Nakamura via Brogue Kick (pinfall)
Ricochet & Andrade defeated JD McDonagh & Santos Escobar via The Shadow (pinfall)
- Andrade pinned McDonagh after hitting The Shadow, which was previously named The Message, to give his team the victory.
- Following the match, Damian Priest ran out and attacked Andrade and Ricochet laying both of them. Priest then confronted McDonagh and Mysterio stating that he does not need anybody but they need him.

Gunther & Xavier Woods Declare Themselves for 2024 King of the Ring Tournament at Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s RAW show also featured Gunther and Xavier Woods officially declaring themselves for this year’s King of the Ring tournament.

During the show, Imperium came out to the ring for Gunther’s first appearance since WrestleMania 40.

Gunther talked about his recent record setting reign as Intercontinental Champion that ended at the hands of Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40. After giving some praise to Zayn over his victory, Gunther talked about no longer having a big target on his back and having to live up to hie and everyone else’s high expectations for him. Gunther stated that weight has been lifted off his shoulders and has gone from being the hunted to now being the hunter. Gunther stated that this is a new era and he will ensure that his name will be embedded into it.

Gunther then officially declared himself as a competitor for this year’s King of the Ring tournament and claimed he would win it and get to decide which championship he will take next. After some more words, Gunther stated that he is the general of the ring and soon to be the king of the ring.

New Day’s music played interrupting Gunther and Woods and Kofi Kingston made their way out to the ring. After some chidlish insults and antics directed at Gunther, Woods stated that he is looking at the current King of the Ring and that makes Gunther an usurper for his throne and nothing more than just a pretender. Woods then claimed that he will cement his legacy by becoming a two time King of the Ring winner, officially declaring himself for this year’s tournament.

Gunther responded stating that he will re-establish the King of the Ring tournament while you are remembered as a man who won by accident and the acted like a “clown king.” After some more back-and-forth banter between Woods and Gunther, a tag team match was made between New Day and Imperium that took place right afterwards.

Ludwig Kaiser Attacks Giovanni Vinci & Vinci Gets Kicked Out of Imperium at Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s RAW show also featured Giovanni Vinci being kicked out of Imperium.

Following New Day’s tag team victory over Imperium’s Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser, an upset Gunther tossed a chair at ringside and walked up to and stared at Kaiser before leaving. Kaiser went to check on Vinci and after some hugs and trying to lift up Vinci’s spirit, they left the ring and started heading to the back. Kaiser’s actions turned out to just be a ruse and shoved Vinci into the ring apron video wall. Kaiser continued his attack and was briefly stopped by WWE officials who tried to escort him to the back. Kaiser ran back to ringside and after a long run around the ring, he hit a running drop kick to Vinci on the steel steps to lay him out. Kaiser then headed to back and confronted Gunther telling him that he would get it done.

Drew McIntyre Declares for 2024 King of the Ring Tournament at Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s RAW show also featured Drew McIntyre officially declaring for this year’s King of the Ring tournament, which takes place on May 25th in Riyadah, Saudi Arabia.

During the show, McIntyre came out to the ring and after some insults including implying the cameraman is a pervert for trying to shoot up his kilt and claiming those who “what” him in the crowd like to French kiss their cousins, which led to a few “what” chants in the crowd, McIntyre turned his attention towards CM Punk. After some more insults, McIntyre blamed Punk for being the reason why he lost the WWE World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania 40 and cost him teh chance to get it back. McIntyre stated that his back is against the wall but he will be coming out swinging and has his target on his next prize, which he revealed to be winning the King of the Ring tournament.

This led to Sheamus’ music interrupting McIntyre and the two engaged in insults-filled banter, which including McIntyre taking a shot at Sheamus’ new chubbier frame claiming instead of him doing “banger after banger” all he has been doing instead is “burger after burger” and Sheamus mocking McIntyre for getting beaten up by a one-arm CM Punk. McIntyre responded back stating that him calling Sheamus the “Ginger Pillsbury Dough Boy” and “The Flubberman” were not his words and instead what the guys in the back were saying about him last week. McIntyre claimed that he was standing up for Sheamus. Sheamus responded stating he does not care what they say leading to McIntyre stating that he cares because he is Sheamus’ friend. McIntyre also stated that whether Sheamus realizes it or not, he always tells the truth and he is the only real friend Sheamus has around here. After some more words, McIntyre stated that in a menacing way that he will have Sheamus’ back for his match against Shinsuke Nakamura tonight.

Chad Gable Explains His Reasons for His Attack on Sami Zayn Last Week & Berated Alpha Academy for Being Disappointments

Monday’s RAW show also featured Chad Gable explaining his reasons for why he attacked Sami Zayn after their match at last week’s show.

During the show, Alpha Academy came out to the ring with only Gable wearing a business suit and the rest wearing their team colors and gear. Gable grabbed a microphone and stated that what he did to Zayn last week was justified. After some words about his match with Zayn, Gable claimed that Zayn just had to rub his win right into his face. Gable stated that Zayn saw him weeping in the corner and Zayn put his Intercontinental title right in front of his face. Gable stated that he gave Zayn his moment but that was not enough for Zayn and Zayn found his wife in front row and celebrated with her. Gable stated that Zayn knew that was his moment and it should have been him at WrestleMania 40 with his daughter celebrating in front row.

Gable then stated that he wasted his time training Sami and wasted his time training a bunch of losers, in reference to Alpha Academy. Gable proceeded to confront Akira Tozawa saying all he does is dance and rack up loss after loss, Maxxine Dupri might be as pretty as a princess but she is as dumb as a box of rocks, and Otis being his prize pupil who turned out to be the biggest disappointment of them all. Gable then told the group that this is why you all signed up for and to get on the same page and know that they are going to focus on him. Gable claimed that they are going to win his Intercontinental title together, no matter what. Gable then demanded that he wants to hear it together from them. Otis initially refused to respond only for Gable to go up to his face leading to Otis saying “no matter what.” Gable then dropped the microphone and left the ring leaving the rest of his group behind.

Becky Lynch Wins WWE Women’s World Title at Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s RAW show also featured Becky Lynch becoming the new WWE Women’s World Championship after winning a battle royal match for the vacant title.

This match featured Lynch, Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell, Natalya, Ivy Nile, Maxxine Dupri, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, Liv Morgan, Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, and Nia Jax as the official competitors.

The final four for this match were Baszler, Jax, Morgan, and Lynch. Baszler was eliminated by Jax followed by Jax being eliminated by Lynch to bring the match down to the final two between Lynch and Morgan. After some back-and-forth action on the apron, Lynch eliminated Morgan after hitting a Manhandle Slam to win the vacant WWE Women’s World Championship.
