Nick Khan Comemnts on Las Vegas Being Considered to Host WrestleMania 41 & WWE’s Plans for Future PLEs

A recent Sports Business Journal’s World Congress of Sport conference featured WWE President Nick Khan as one of the speakers. One of the topics discussed included Khan revealing that Las Vegas is currently being considered to be a potential host for next year’s WrestleMania 41 event.

“WWE president Nick Khan wasn’t ready to announce the location of WrestleMania in 2025 just yet but he said you can assume it won’t be in an outdoor East coast stadium again and it won’t go head-to-head with the Final Four again. Las Vegas is one of the cities under consideration.”

Khan also stated that future WrestleMania, Money in the Bank, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and SummerSlam events will remain in the United States and Canada in regards to WWE’s current plans for international PLEs.

“We sat down together a few years ago and decided, so the big five premium live events … should be in the United States or Canada. All of the other events, the goal is to have them from international locations. It’s over and over until we’re back in the United States, I think, in October for one of our premium live events. There’s a halo effect on those big deals. Merchandise sales, relevancy goes up, and who knows — is the next Yao Ming of that country watching [WWE] and wanting to do it in 10 years.”

Drew Gulak NXT Absence & No Quarter Catch Crew Tron Name Removal Update – WWE Reportedly Held Investigation Over Ronda Rousey’s Claims

As noted before, Ronda Rousey recently accused Drew Gulak of inappropriately touching her in a backstage incident during her time in the company, which was something Gulak confirmed but claimed it was just an accident. The April 9th NXT show was notable for Gulak’s absence and name removal from No Quarter Catch Crew’s group entrance video.

The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported on Twitter that his sources stated that WWE held a recent investigation over Rousey’s claims against Gulak.

Alvarez reported that WWE officials had interviewed several people who witnessed the event and the way Gulak was written off from NXT implying he was “murdered” by the D’Angelo Family is an indication of what the results were from WWE’s investigation.

Regarding Ronda and Drew, what is unique about this one is both claimed there were witnesses. I was told WWE did an investigation, interviewed people, and Gulak has been murdered in storyline. So I presume that tells you the result of the investigation.

Roman Reigns WWE Hiatus Update

Roman Reigns is currently on a break from WWE following WrestleMania 40 earlier this month due to him currently being involved in the filming of a new comedy film titled Good Fortune.

WrestleVotes reported that their sources stated that Reigns is currently expected to be absent from WWE television for an “indefinite period of time.” It was also reported that Reigns will still have substantial creative input for the current Bloodline storyline over the course of the next few months.
