As noted before, Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida featured The Elite and Jack Perry attacking AEW CEO Tony Khan to close out the show. This angle also featured Khan’s father and AEW owner Shahid also making his official on-screen debut appearance in the company.
Following the show, The Young Bucks mocked Khan’s typical positive post-show message on Twitter thanking the fans for watching the show.
Thank you all for watching #AEWDynamite tonight! What a great show that was on @TBSNetwork, with a thrilling ending! Justified “this is awesome” chants at the end!

It was an exciting show on the road to #AEWDoubleOrNothing tonight on TBS, thank you all for watching!
This show closing angle also received coverage on NFL’s official website over the Khan family being the owners of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Khan continued the sell the effects of The Elite’s attack on him following the show for the production of the Parking Lot Brawl match between Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor that was filmed on early Thursday for this Saturday’s AEW Rampage show. Khan reportedly was seen wearing a neck brace while on the set for the taping of this match.
It was reported that several people within AEW were unsure if Khan would continue to wear the neck brace over the new few days for the 2024 NFL Draft. It was reported that this was something that is currently not known from their sources as of Wednesday night.
