  1. Mixed Tag Team match – House of Black (Brody King & Julia Hart) defeated Adam Copeland & Willow Nightingale via Heartless Lock (ref stoppage)
    • Prior to the start of the match, Copeland came out for his entrance and waited for his tag team partner. This led to Nightingale’s music playing but her not coming out and instead a video shown on the big screen revealing that Nightingale had been attacked backstage. The lights went out and when it came back on, King attacked Copeland from behind while Hart smiled on the ramp.
    • Near the end of the match, Nightingale came out alongside Stokely Hathaway and Kris Statlander and joined in on the match. After some more action, Hart struck Nightingale with a chained wrapped fist while the referee was not looking and locked in the Heartless Lock for the ref stoppage victory.
    • Following the match, Mercedes Mone ran out with a chair and cleared the ring of Hart. Mone then dropped her chair in front of Nightingale & Copeland and shook Copeland’s hand stared down Nightingale in the ring.
  2. The Elite (Kazuchika Okada & The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson)) defeated Daniel Garcia, PAC, & Penta El Zero Miedo via Rainmaker (pinfall)
    • Okada pinned Garcia after the Young Bucks hit a stereo superkicks to Garcia and Okada followed it with a Rainmaker to give The Elite the victory.
    • Following the match, The Elite attacked Garcia leading to PAC grabbing the ring bell hammer and chasing The Elite out of the ring.
  3. Deonna Purrazzo defeated Mariah May via Roll-up (pinfall)
    • Following the match, “Timeless” Toni Storm ran into the ring and attacked Purrazzo leading to May joining in on the attack. This led to Thunder Rosa coming out to clear the ring of Storm and May. Rosa then went up to Purrazzo and the two had words before May grabbed Purrazzo’s foot and pulled her out of the ring. Storm then attacked Rosa from being and attempted a Storm Zero only for Rosa to counter with a punch and locked in a Camel Clutch hold and smeared lipstick over her face.
  4. Orange Cassidy defeated Shane Taylor via Orange Punch (pinfall)
    • Following the match, Lee Moriarty & Anthony Ogogo attacked Cassidy leading to Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal running out trying to save Cassidy. A hooded person showed up and attacked Daniels and Sydal with a chair before they could get into the ring and revealed himself to be Trent Beretta. Beretta watched on as Shane Taylor Promotions continued their attack on Cassidy in the ring.
  5. Will Ospreay defeated Claudio Castagnoli via Hidden Blade (pinfall)
    • Following the match, The Don Callis Family ran into the ring and attacked Castagnoli leading to Jon Moxley coming out to save Castagnoli. Moxley got into a staredown with Hobbs as Hobbs left the ring and rejoined his fellow Don Callis Family members as they walked away to the back.

Jon Moxley Challenges Powerhouse Hobbs Announced for April 24th Dynamite Show

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show featured Jon Moxley issuing a challenge to Powerhouse Hobbs for a match at next week’s Dynamite show on April 24th at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

This match was setup following an in-ring promo segment by Moxley. Moley came out to the ring to start off the show and talked about one of the first titles he won in his career being right here in Indianapolis and gave a message to those who said he would never achieve great things, which was him saying “kiss my ass and watch me.”. Moxley then talked about his newly won IWGP World Championship and how deep one is willing to dig and how far they are willing to go to prove themselves being that is what AEW is all about.

Moxley then turned his attention towards the Don Callis Family and their actions to Bryan Danielson last weekend trying to injure his friend and teammate. Moxley stated that if you are going to put a target on Danielson, you might as well put a target on Mox as well. Moxley then stated that if you want to get violent, Mox will be around all night. After some more words, Moxley stated that he is picking the biggest, baddest, and meanest of all of them, which he revealed to be Hobbs and issued a challenge to him for next week’s Dynamite show.


Mercedes Mone Responds to Her Mystery Attacker from Last Week & Calls Out Julia Hart

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured Mercedes Mone responding to her mystery attacker over last week’s lights out ambush attack on her.

During the show, Mone gave a backstage promo talking about her interview with Alex Marvez on last week’s show being interrupted by someone who attacked her while the lights were out. Mone called out Julia Hart over Hart’s remarks about her last week and claimed that last week’s attack fit the motto of House of Black and someone who doesn’t want to face her at Double or Nothing 2024. Mone then talked about putting AEW’s entire Women’s division on notice and stated that they don’t want to mess with Mercedes Mone.


HOOK Rejects Chris Jericho’s Mentorship Offer at Wed’s Dynamite Show, FTW Title Match Announced for AEW Dynasty

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured HOOK rejecting Chris Jericho’s offer to be under his “Learning Tree” mentorship and a FTW Championship match of HOOK vs. Jericho announced for AEW Dynasty.

During the show, Jericho and HOOK came out to the ring for a face-to-face meeting brokered by HOOK’s dad and AEW commentator Taz. Jericho talked about his actions to HOOK during their Trios match last week and stated that he is the “Learning Tree.” Jericho listed all the people who have taken his advice in AEW and how they have all succeeded well thanks to him. Jericho then talks about how he wants to bring both himself and HOOK to the top of the “wizard tree” and “breathe in that rarefied air.” Jericho then asked HOOK if he is ready to sit under the branches of the Learning Tree. HOOK responded by going up to Jericho’s face and stated “no.” After some back-and-forth banter between the two, Taz tried to interrupt leading to Jericho shoving Taz away. HOOK responded rushing at Jericho and getting right up to his face in the corner and telling him to get out of his ring and informed him that he can beat him again anytime and anywhere. Jericho tried to plead for HOOK to step down to no avail as he left the ring to mocking chants of “na na na na, hey hey, goodbye” from the crowd.

Later in the show, it was announced that HOOK vs. Jericho for HOOK’s FTW Championship was made official for AEW Dynasty.


AEW Trios & ROH 6-Man Tag Titles Winner Takes All Match Announced for AEW Dynasty

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured one new match officially announced for the card of AEW Dynasty, which takes place on April 21st at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.

This new match announced was a AEW Trios Championship and ROH 6-Man Tag Team Championship Winner Takes All match of The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) & Billy Gunn (AEW Trios) vs. Bang Bang Gang (Jay White & The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn)) (ROH 6-Man).

This match was setup following a backstage interview segment involving the Bang Bang Gang. White talked about their recent issues with The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass and how The Gunns have been better off with him than their dad. White then issued a challange for a winner takes all match between them and The Acclaimed & Gunn for both the AEW Trios and ROH 6-Man Tag titles.

In a follow-up segment, The Acclaimed & Gunn responded in a backstage promo accepting White’s challenge for AEW Dynasty. It was announced afterwards that this match was made official for the show.
