Minnesota Reportedly Submits Bid to be Host of WrestleMania 41
As noted before, Minneapolis, Minnesota is currently one of the finalists and the frontrunner to be the official host for WWE’s WrestleMania 41 event in 2025. The Minnesota House of Representative held a committee meeting earlier this month revealing that the Minnesota Sports & Events is currently in the process of preparing to make an announcement regarding a mystery major event to be held in the state in 2025.
In a recent official statement to the Star Tribune, Minnesota Sports & Events stated that they have submitted an official bid to WWE for the city of Minneapolis to be the potential host for next year’s WrestleMania 41 event. It was also stated that this bid was for the U.S. Bank Stadium to be the potential host venue if chosen, which has a capacity of 73,000 for sporting events.
Bull Nakano Comments on Her WWE Hall of Fame Induction & Reports of Giulia Joining WWE
Tokyo Sports held a recent interview with Japanese wrestling legend Bull Nakano. One of the topics discussed included Nakano’s thoughts about her reaction when she first learned that she would be getting inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame as part of this year’s class.
“On January 16th, I was asked, it has been decided that I will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but, ‘Do you intend to receive the award?’ ‘Of course I do!’ And cried with joy. I was told that it would be a top secret until the announcement, and I tried not to meet anyone (laughs).”
Nakano also gave her thoughts about the recent reports and rumors of Giulia joining WWE later this year.
“You (Giulia) should definitely go. It will definitely expand your world… I think they’ll use her in a good way.
When she came to STARDOM and greeted me… who would have imagined the Giulia of today? I can see that she is like a chameleon, changing herself in various situations to cope and move on. That’s why I’m sure she can handle it over there as well. It’s scary how much you’ll grow if you go.”
