Mercedes Mone Comments on Potential Future Return to WWE
In a recent interview with the The Kick Rocks Wrestling Podcast, Mercedes Mone had stated that her decision to walk out of WWE in May of 2022 was the hardest decision she has ever made in her life due to how closely connected wrestling in WWE has been in her whole life. Mone also stated that this was also her most proudest decision since it allowed her to live “the best version of my life and getting to be everything I’ve ever dreamt of.”
Podcast host Evan T. Mack recently released a “Mack Cut” clip from his interview with Mone that was cut out from the originally released version featuring Mone’s thoughts about her interest in a potential return to WWE in the future.
“I know I’m going to be back there [WWE] one day, ok. So it’s not over. Like I said, I have a lot of unfinished business in wrestling in a lot of places.”
Mone is currently expected to be making her official debut for AEW at next week’s Dynamite Big Business show at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

This led to many of Belair’s co-workers in WWE and others online responding back showing their support for Belair and lashing out at those who made racist and derogatory comments towards her.
Among those who showed their support included Rhea Ripley, Zelina Vega, and Big E.

Y’all just mad that she’s better than you 💁🏻♀️ #EST
The “fans” that took part in the blatant disrespect and hate towards her and other black men and women should be ashamed and embarrassed. It’s disgusting. But your hate will never EVER dim their shine. We love you B. You continue to be an inspiration to all of us.

The black women in this industry face a regular barrage of racism & misogyny from “fans.” And have for far too long. You cannot diminish their light. You cannot erase their contributions to this industry.
