WWE’s Current Main Roster Plans for Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams
WWE reportedly is currently working on main roster call-up plans for NXT talents Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, according to Fightful Select.
Corey Brennan reported that his sources stated that WWE officials are currently planning on bringing up Hayes and Williams at the same time to continue their on-going feud on either their RAW or SmackDown brand.
One source spoken to reportedly stated that Hayes had been set to for his main roster call-up since prior to this past January’s Royal Rumble 2024 event and is current expected to be officially called up at some point this summer.
In regards to Williams, Brennan reported that while there have been pitches for Williams and Hayes to continue their rivalry on the main roster after next month’s NXT Stand & Deliver 2024 event, WWE’s current plans for Williams following the event are currently not known.
Brennan also reported that NXT officials currently have plans for Williams and Hayes match at Stand & Deliver 2024 to be the main event match for the show.
Becky Lynch WWE Contract Status Update
As noted before, Becky Lynch’s contract with WWE is currently set to expire this June.
A recent episode of the Getting Over Wrestling Podcast featured Lynch as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Lynch providing an update on the status of her talks with WWE for a potential new contract with the company.
“All in the ether. It’s all up for conversation. Nobody has asked me that. Nobody has said anything to me about it. I was wondering if anybody has noticed.”

Update on Ivar’s Health Status Following Him Being Pulled from Monday’s WWE RAW Show
Prior to the start of Monday’s WWE RAW show, WWE announced that they had pulled Ivar from the show due to him not being medically cleared to compete. It was also announced at the time that Giovanni Vinci would be replacing Ivar for his scheduled match against Andrade at the show. No other details were given in regards to Ivar’s medical status.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Ivar is currently feeling fine and WWE officials currently expect him to return back to the ring in “quick fashion.”
It was reported that the exact issue causing Ivar to not be medically cleared for last night’s show is currently not known but this is something that WWE officials do not seem too concerned about it.
