Booker T Revealed He Almost Had Backstage Incident with CM Punk at This Past Tuesday’s NXT Show

This past Tuesday’s NXT show was notable for CM Punk being revealed to have been in attendance backstage during the show. In regards to Punk’s visit, Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan reported that his sources stated that Punk had kept a low profile to the point that many within NXT were not even aware he was at the show until photos started to circulate online.

A recent episode of The Hall of Fame with Booker T & Brad Gilmore podcast featured NXT commentator and co-host Booker T revealing that he almost got involved in a backstage incident with CM Punk at this past Tuesday’s NXT show.

“I did. I saw Punk. We’ll talk about that off the air [laughs]. I almost had a little run in with CM Punk. The internet might want to pick that up. Me and CM Punk almost got into it at NXT. We’ll talk about it later. I don’t want to put it out there because they’re going to pick it up and run with it. I’ll talk to you off the air.”

The Undertaker Comments on Having to Talk Himself Out of Wanting One More Match

A recent episode of the Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway podcast, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker gave his thoughts about having to talk himself out of coming out of retirement for one more potential match.

“It’s still tough for me. I’m still coming to grips with it. I may or may not have said to my wife recently that I was going to make a comeback. Fortunately, I think I’ve talked myself out of that. No, there’s not one more match. I just got back from Australia. I was tired and I knew I had a lot of stuff coming up and that was me just feeling comfortable saying it.

That’s the only thing I do know. Don’t expect it. There’s not going to be one more match. Don’t even start. Well, I mean, if Sting hadn’t retired, maybe. He ruined the whole thing. I got new knees and he went and had to go and retire… Oh my gosh, we’re going to get so much heat for that.”

John Cena Comments on His Status for WrestleMania 40

A recent episode of The Drew Barymore Show featured John Cena as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Cena’s thoughts about if he will be making an appearance at next month’s WWE WrestleMania 40 event.

“I’m kind of waiting for my invite.

Unfortunately, it’s like, I don’t have a prom date, so I have no one to go to prom with. I haven’t been asked to go yet. That’s okay. That’s alright. I have not yet found a golden ticket in my chocolate bar, so I guess I have to keep eating chocolate bars to find a golden ticket.”
