TNA Wrestling held the first of a two-night new set of television tapings on Friday at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This new set of tapings focused on the build for next month’s Rebellion 2024 event and will be for future episodes of TNA Impact!
In regards to notable moments from the tapings, indie talents Steph De Lander and Matt Cardona made their official returns to TNA. De Lander made her surprise return as one of the competitors for the 8-4-1 match to determine the next official contender for Jordynne Grace’s TNA Knockouts World Championship at TNA’s Rebellion 2024 event on April 20th in Paradise, Nevada.

Besides De Lander and Cardona, Myron Reed also made his surprise return and reunited with The Rascalz at the tapings.
Two new matches were also officially announced for next month’s Rebellion 2024 event.
The first new match announced was a TNA Knockouts World Championship match of Steph De Lander vs. Jordynne Grace (c). This match was setup following De Lander winning the #1 Contender’s 8-4-1 match after Cardona made his surprise return and helped De Lander secure the victory.
The second new match announced was a singles match of Rich Swann vs. Joe Hendry.

- TNA Knockouts World Championship #1 Contender 8-4-1 match – Steph De Lander, Dani Luna, Rosemary, & Xia Brookside defeated Havok, Masha Slamovich, Jody Threat, & Alisha Edwards to advance to the Four-way portion of the match.
- TNA Knockouts World Championship #1 Contender 8-4-1 match – Steph De Lander defeated Dani Luna, Rosemary, and Xia Brookside. Near the end of the match, Matt Cardona made his surprise return and interfered in the match to help De Lander win.
- 2-on-1 Handicap match – The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) defeated Deaner
- Josh Alexander defeated “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams. Following the match, Hammerstone came out and attacked Alexander and Williams.
- Eddie Edwards defeated “Speedball” Mike Bailey. Near the end of the match, Alisha Edwards interfered leading to Eddie picking up the victory.
- AJ Francis and Rich Swann gave a promo and called their new team name as First Class.
- Steve Maclin defeated Chris Sabin
- Old School Rules Match – Mustafa Ali defeated Rhino, Following the match, Jakes Something came out and attacked Ali’s bodyguards.
- Hammerstone was interviewed by Gia Miller on the stage. During his interview segment, Hammerstone attacked the cameraman and put him in the Torture Rack.
- The Rascalz defeated FBI (Ray Jay & Zack Clayton). During the match, Myron Reed made his surprise return and interfered to help The Rascalz win.
- TNA Digital Media Championship – Laredo Kid defeated Crazzy Steve (c) via Disqualification
- First Class (AJ Francis & Rich Swann) defeated ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey). Joe Hendry came out and sang the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” theme song to First Class. Hendry led the crowd in chanting “Uncle Phil” towards Francis. Following the match, it was announced that Swann will be facing off against Hendry at next month’s Rebellion 2024 event.
- TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella held a TNA Knockouts World Championship match contract singing segment with Steph De Lander, Matt Cardona, and Jordynne Grace. During the segment, Cardona accidentally knocked down Marella leading to a brawl breaking out that ended with Cardona and De Lander slamming Grace through the table.
- Jake Something defeated James Drake. Following the match, Zack Gibson attacked Something leading to Deaner running out to save Something.
- TNA X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali came out with some protesters and told Something that their match at Rebellion can not happen. Ali stated that Something was over the limits of the X-Division. This led to Grizzled Young Vets attacking Something and Deaner and Ali laid out Deaner with his X-Division title.
- Hammerstone defeated Guido. The FBI’s Zack Clayton and Ray Jay were at ringside in Guido’s corner and Josh Alexander came out for guest commentary. Following the match, Alexander and Hammerstone stared down each other.
- Nic Nemeth defeated Alex Shelley
