Jack Perry Joins House of Torture at NJPW 52nd Anniversary Event

Wednesday’s 52nd Anniversary Event for New Japan Pro Wrestling in Tokyo, Japan featured “Scapegoat” Jack Perry officially becoming the newest member of House of Torture.

During the New Japan Cup 2024 tournament First Round match between Perry and Shota Umino, House of Torture’s Yoshinobu Kanemaru ran out and got on the apron causing the referee to be distracted leading to Ren Narita coming out and attacked Umino from behind. This led to Perry hitting a running knee strike to Umino for the pinfall victory to advance to the next round of this year’s tournament.

Following the match, the rest of House of Torture came out and EVIL offered a House of Torture shirt to Perry as membership into his group. Perry grabbed the shirt and proceeded to put it on accepting EVIL’s offer. Perry and the rest of House of Torture stood over Umino’s fallen body before leaving the ring.

As a result of his victory, Perry will be facing off against Toru Yano in the Second Round of this year’s New Japan Cup tournament on March 11th.
