Former WWE Wrestler Daniel Rodimer Wanted for Murder in Las Vegas

News 3 Las Vegas reported that former WWE wrestler Daniel Rodimer is currently wanted for murder over the death of a 47-year-old man named Christopher Tapp following a fight at the Resorts World Las Vegas hotel on the Las Vegas strip this past October.

It was reported that an arrest warrant and criminal complaint against Rodimer were filed before the Las Vegas Justice Court this week for a charge of open murder.

It was also reported that Las Vegas Police Department had initially believed that Tapp had died from an accident at the Resorts World Las Vegas but following an investigation, they learned that Tapp had died instead from a fight inside a hotel room. The Clark County Coroner’s office reportedly had ruled Tapp’s death as a homicide and the cause from blunt force trauma to the head.

It was reported that a criminal complaint had been filed by the Clark County District Attorney’s office and alleges that Rodimer had killed Tapp by striking him “on the head, the said killing having been willful, deliberate and premeditated.”

Official statement from Las Vegas Police Department:

Rodmier last wrestled in 2007 for WWE following a brief career in the company that spanned from July of 2006 to August of 2007. Rodimer had also competed in the 2004 season of WWE’s Tough Enough reality series. Outside of wrestling, Rodimer had ran for political office for the Republican Party several times in recent years in Nevada and Texas, most recently losing a Congressional race in 2021.
