Tony Khan Comments on Mercedes Mone’s Signing with AEW
As noted before, Mercedes Mone made her official debut for AEW at this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Big Business show in Boston, Massachusetts. Besides her official debut, Mone also revealed that she had signed an official contract with AEW.
The Boston Globe held a recent interview with AEW CEO Tony Khan. One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts on Mone’s recent signing to the company.
“I think she’s one of the best wrestlers in the world. I always want to get the best wrestlers in AEW, and that describes Mercedes perfectly.”
Matt Hardy Comments on Future of His Wrestling Career & Denies Rumors of Him Retiring from Active Wrestling
As noted before, Matt Hardy’s contract with AEW is currently set to expire by the end of this month.
Hardy recently provided an update on Twitter stating that the recent rumors of him retiring from active wrestling after his current contract with AEW expires are not true. Hardy’s comments were in response to a question from a fan who mentioned the online rumors that were circulating about Hardy’s career future.

Anthony Henry Broken Jaw Injury Update
As noted before, The WorkHorsemen’s Anthony Henry suffered a broken jaw injury at an indie event this past Sunday for Deadlock Pro Wrestling.
Henry recently provided an update on Twitter stating that he will not need to undergo surgery to repair his broken jaw but is currently expected to be out of action for at least the next eight weeks for his recovery.
Update: no surgery is needed, but I still have to have a procedure to reset my jaw with rubber brackets.
