More on AEW Dynamite Viewership for February 14th
The February 14th episode of AEW Dynamite saw AEW gain a slight increase in overall viewership, key demographic ratings, and key demographic rankings.
AEW drew 811,000 viewers and a 0.30 key demographic rating on TBS. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that night was 2nd place.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the main reason for AEW’s increases this week was due to the large increase from their younger male key demographic viewership group, which was up 33.7% compared to last week’s show. Another reason reportedly was due to their lead-in programming Big Bang Theory viewership rebounding from last week’s lower than usual viewership and ratings and the large gain from their older female key demographic viewership group, which was up 43.4% compared to last week’s show. This reportedly offset the declines from their younger female key demographic viewership and older male key demographic viewership groups, which were down 15.6% and 12.3% respectively compared to last week’s show.
In terms of notable head-to-head competition, the NBA game of Chicago Bulls vs. Cleveland Cavaliers drew 864,000 viewers on ESPN, the College basketball game of Tennessee vs. Arkansas drew 532,000 viewers on ESPN2, the College basketball game of Miami vs. Clemson drew 266,000 viewers on ESPN2, the NHL game of Florida Panthers vs. Pittsburgh Penguins drew 294,000 viewers on TNT, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills drew 944,000 viewers on BRAVO, Sistas Series drew 969,000 viewers on BET, and Challenge New Champion drew 521,000 viewers on MTV.
In terms of key demographic viewership, AEW had 393,000 viewers. AEW’s Males 18-34 was 127,000 viewers (up 33.7%), Females 18-34 was 54,000 viewers (down 15.6%), Males 35-49 was 136,000 viewers (down 12.3%), and Females 35-49 was 76,000 viewers (up 43.4%). Meltzer reported that AEW’s male/female viewership split was 263,000 male viewers and 130,000 female viewers for a split of 66.9% in favor of males.
In terms of the one million viewership milestone, none of AEW’s eight quarters drew one million or more viewers. AEW’s peak quarter hour viewership was at 944,000 viewers for their first quarter while their quarter low was at 725,000 viewers for their eighth quarter.
In terms of yearly comparisons, AEW was down 1.9% in overall viewership and but up 11.6% in key demographic viewership. Meltzer reported that AEW’s 18-34 viewership was up 32.1% compared to the same week last year.

The February 9th episode of AEW Rampage saw AEW gain a very large increase in overall viewership and key demographic rankings and a small increase in key demographic ratings.
AEW drew 456,000 viewers and a 0.14 key demographic rating on TNT. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that night was 7th place

Dave Meltzer reported that the main reason for AEW’s increases that week was due to the large increases from their overall key demographic viewership and younger key demographic viewership groups, which were up 38.8% and 19.1% respectively compared to the prior week’s show. Meltzer reported that AEW’s overall viewership was its highest since their April 7, 2023 show and key demographic viewership was its highest since their October 13, 2023 show.
In terms of notable head-to-head competition, the NBA game of New Orleans Pelicans vs. Los Angeles Lakers drew 570,000 viewers on NBA TV, the College basketball game of San Jose State vs. Colorado State drew 72,000 viewers on FS1, the College Softball game of Texas vs. UCLA drew 297,000 viewers on ESPN, House Hunters drew 989,000 viewers on Home and Garden TV, On Patrol Live drew 952,000 viewers on REELZ Channel, and Unbelievable with Dan A. drew 682,000 viewers on History Channel.
In terms of key demographic viewership, AEW had 186,000 viewers.
In terms of yearly comparisons, AEW was up 21.6% in overall viewership and up 20% in key demographic viewership. Meltzer reported that AEW’s 18-34 viewership was down 3.4% compared to the same week last year.

AEW drew 491,000 viewers and a 0.15 key demographic rating on TNT. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that night was 12th place.

Dave Meltzer reported that the main reasons for AEW’s increases that week was due to the large increases from their overall key demographic viewership group, which was up 29.9% compared to the prior week’s show. Meltzer reported that AEW’s overall viewership was its highest since the October 21, 2023 show and key demographic viewership was its highest since the December 23, 2023 show.
