Schiavone stated “Yeah, in many ways, itās going to be. Stingās familyās going to be there. Heās invited a couple of his friends to be there. So it is. Itās gonna be an emotional night for me, and itās gonna be an emotional night for Ric Flair, whoās gonna be there as well, and the fact that, you think about Sting and Flair, Clash of the Champions, I was there to call it, and how much the Greensboro Coliseum means to me as a wrestling fan, that was my go-to place during all my fandom back in the 70s. It means a lot to me. So with that in mind, I really personally look forward to that night.” Schiavone also gave his thoughts about him feeling honored to have been part of Sting’s legendary career. Schiavone stated “Iām so honored to be a part of Stingās career, Flairās career, and many wrestlersā careers. Arn, Tully, Barry Windham, Midnight Express, Jim Cornette, all of that. You see some photos of them, there I am, holding the mic. It was a wonderful time. It was a good time, and I miss it.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
