Six More Wrestlers Confirmed for Men’s Royal Rumble Match & Updated Field
WWE confirmed six new entrants for the Men’s Royal Rumble match for tonight’s Royal Rumble 2024 event in St. Petersburg, Florida.
During Friday’s SmackDown show, Jimmy Uso, Santos Escobar, and R-Truth were all seen drawing their numbers out of a tumbler for the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
Following the show, WWE released a digital exclusive video revealing Carlito, Grayson Waller, and Austin Theory also drawing their numbers out of a tumbler for the match.

WWE confirmed four new entrants for the Women’s Royal Rumble match for tonight’s Royal Rumble 2024 event in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Following Friday’s SmackDown show, WWE released a digital exclusive video revealing Alba Fyre, Shotzi, Zelina Vega, and Michin drawing their numbers out of a tumbler for the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Current Ticket Sales for WWE Royal Rumble 2024
WWE reportedly has sold and distributed over 40,000 tickets for tonight’s Royal Rumble 2024 event at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida as of earlier this week, according to WrestleTix.
It was reported that while the exact number of tickets sold and distributed is currently not known, local police had been told to expect an attendance of around 48,000 to 50,000 people for the event. It was also reported that it is not known if this includes venue staff, vendors security, and others who are not actual ticket holders.
Potential Spoilers for Royal Rumble 2024
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Kazuchika Okada and Mercedes Mone are not expected to make an appearance at tonight’s Royal Rumble 2024 event.
In a seperate report, Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE officials pulled their plans for Brock Lesnar to make his return at tonight’s Royal Rumble event. Johnson reported that Lesnar’s status for WrestleMania 40 and employment in WWE are currently not known following his involvement in the Vince McMahon sex trafficking allegations.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that one high level WWE official spoken to also denied the possibility of Mone making an appearance at the event stating “well, we’re not really interested in contract tampering with her, so I doubt it.”
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials are currently working on an “off the wall surprise” for tonight’s event. It was reported that WWE had contacted multiple other promotions about potentially utilizing some of their talent for the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches.
Fightful Select also reported that their sources stated that Jade Cargill was among the names being discussed by WWE officials as a surprise entrant for the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Cargill reportedly was seen at rehersals for the match this past Thursday.
Besides Cargill, NXT talents Blair Davenport and Tiffany Stratton also had been spotted at the venue.
