New Match Announced for Jan. 31st AEW Dynamite Show
Friday’s AEW Rampage show featured one new match officially announced for the card of this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show on January 31st in New Orleans, Louisa.
This new match announced was a singles match of Kyle Fletcher vs. Chris Jericho.
This match was setup following an in-ring promo segment involving the Don Callis Family. Following Konosuke Takeshita’s victory over Christopher Daniels, Callis gave a promo stating that it was time for their feud with Chris Jericho to end and challenged Jericho to a match with Takeshita for next week’s Dynamite show. Callis claimed that Takeshita will show who is the real alpha of wrestling and put an end to Jericho. This led to Fletcher interrupting stating that Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs already had faced Jericho and he should get his chance and be the one to face Jericho next instead. Callis agreed to Fletcher’s idea and issued his revised challenge, which was confirmed later to be made official for the show.
