CM Punk Teasing Potential Surprise Appearance at NXT Deadline 2023

CM Punk revealed on Instagram that he had paid a visit earlier today to WWE’s new headquarters building in Stamford, Connecticut.

In his post, CM Punk had also tagged NXT and teased at making a surprise appearance at tonight’s NXT Deadline 2023 event in Bridgeport. Punk stated “Missed my flight today. Woke up in Bridgeport. Anything to do here?”

Following Punk’s post, WWE NXT head booker Shawn Michaels responded on Twitter inviting Punk for a meeting at tonight’s show.

Cora Jade NXT Return Plans Status Update

As noted before, NXT talent Cora Jade has been absent from WWE’s NXT brand since this past August. Jade is currently expected to make her return at tonight’s NXT Deadline 2023 event in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Jade was seen in Orlando, Florida on Saturday with the rest of WWE’s NXT crew who were scheduled to travel to Bridgeport for tonight’s Deadline 2023 event.

Besides Jade, NXT talent Izzi Dame, NXT backstage interviewer Kelly Kincaid, NXT ring announcer Alica Warrington, and NXT officials Shawn Michaels, Matt Bloom, Terry Taylor, and Oney Lorcan were also among those who had traveled to Bridgeport. Micheals reportedly had traveled several days earlier and was seen at WWE’s headquarters over this week.

NXT Deadline Ticket Sales Update

WrestleTix reported that WWE has sold and distributed around 4,205 tickets for tonight’s NXT Deadline 2023 event at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport as of Saturday morning.
