Saturday’s Worlds End event also featured CJ Perry turning heel on Andrade El Idolo and teasing reuniting with Miro.

During Andrade’s match with Miro, Andrade locked in a Figure Four to Miro that he transitioned into a Figure Eight. While the referee was distracted, Andrade’s manager Perry grabbed his arms and yanked him down to break the hold. This led to Andrade being confused over what just happened and leaving him open to getting hit with a superkick by Miro for a near fall. Miro then locked in the Game Over for the submission victory.

After the match, Perry was very happy celebrating Miro’s victory while Miro looked on bewildered over his wife’s actions at ringside.

Andrade is currently believed to have finished up his time with AEW after tonight’s event.

The second new championship to change hands was Christian Cage defeating Adam Copeland to become the new champion regaining his belt back in the process.

Following the match, Killswitch attacked Copeland and tried to cash in his guaranteed title shot that he was due to him winning the Battle Royal match earlier in the show. Before the referee could accept the contract for the cash in, Cage interrupted and demanded that Killswitch hand over his match contract since he wanted to cash in instead. After some hesitation by Killswitch and Cage saying something to his ear, Killswitch handed over his match contract to Cage who cashed in for the title shot on the spot. Cage then hit a spear for the pinfall victory to regain his TNT title.

The third new champion crowned was Samoa Joe defeating MJF to become the new AEW World Champion.

The finish to this match involved Joe locking in the Coquina Clutch to MJF for the submission victory after MJF did not respond following the referee raising his hand up three times.

Kingston then attempted a powerbomb to Moxley which Moxley escaped and responded with a stiff lariat. Moxley and Kingston then exchanged a series of headbutts and slaps to each other leading to Kingston hitting Uraken to Moxley for the pinfall victory to become the inaugural AEW Continental Classic tournament winner.

Adam Cole Revealed as AEW Devil & Roderick Strong, Wardlow, & The Kingdom Revealed as His Minions

Saturday’s Worlds End event also featured Adam Cole being revealed as the AEW Devil.

Prior to the start of the AEW World Championship between Samoa Joe and MJF, Adam Cole made a surprise appearance and went to MJF’s corner to support him. Following Joe’s victory over MJF to become the new AEW World Champion, Cole went into the ring to console MJF over his loss. This led to the AEW Devil’s masked minions rushing to the ring and grabbed both Cole and MJF with one minion preparing to hit Cole with a steel chair. Before anything could happen, the lights went off and when it returned, Cole was sitting in the same chair and was holding the AEW Devil mask revealing that he was the mastermind of the AEW Devil’s recent attacks and actions towards MJF. The AEW Devil’s masked minions then took off their masks revealing themselves to be Roderick Strong, Wardlow, and The Kingdom and proceeded to attack MJF while Cole looked on.
