Updated AEW Continental Classic Standings & Results
Friday’s taped AEW Rampage show featured one group stage match for AEW’s ongoing Continental Classic tournament, which was for the Blue League.
This Blue League match was Bryan Danielson defeating Daniel Garcia.
The finish to this match involved Garcia hooking Danielson in a Sharpshooter and transitioned it into a piledriver for a nearfall. Garcia then proceeded to hit a series of kicks to Danielson’s head and gave a hip swivle dance for added insult. This led to an opening for Danielson to hit a Busaiku Knee laying out Garcia for the nearfall. After some more action, Danielson locked in a LeBell Lock to Garcia and hit some forearm strikes after Garcia tried to escape the hold. Danielson then hooked in the LeBell Lock again to Garcia causing Garcia to pass out for the referee stoppage victory to earn himself another 3 points.

Julia Hart Confronts Abadon Again & Teases Future TBS Title Match at Friday’s Rampage Show
Friday’s taped Rampage show also featured Julia Hart being involved in a surprise confrontation with Abadon for a second week in a row.
Following Abadon’s victory over Trish Adora, the lights suddenly went out. When the lights came back on, Abadon gave an unimpressed look and turned her head towards Hart who was standing in the corner waving hello. Hart showed off her TBS Championship and placed in down in front of Abadon. Abadon proceeded to pick up the belt while Hart smiled and nodded that she was not going to keep it. The lights then went off again and when it returned, both Hart and her TBS title had disappeared leading to Abadon screaming in anger.
