As noted before, AEW’s Vice President of Live Events and Touring Rafael Morffi will be leaving the company at the end of this year.
Besides Morffi, Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that AEW’s Chief Marketing & Merchandising Officer Dana Massie will also be leaving the company soon. No other details were given at the time regarding Massie’s upcoming departure from the company.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources provided some additional details stating that the reason for Massie’s departure was due to her decision to not sign a new contract with the company.
Massie is the wife of AEW Executive Vice President Matt Jackson. In a recent Instagram post, Jackson confirmed the reports about his wife leaving the company.

Prior to her departure, Massie had been with AEW since its founding in 2019. Massie’s departure is the fourth notable high level executive departure from AEW this month, following Morffi, VP of Post Production Kevin Sullivan, and VP of Show & Creative Coordination and Talent Relations Manager QT Marshall.
