Drew McIntyre Officially Joins Judgement Day’s Team for Men’s WarGames Match
Monday’s RAW show in Grand Rapids featured Drew McIntyre officially joining Judgement Day’s team for the Men’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series 2023, which takes place on November 25th at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
This announcement was made following an in-ring promo segment involving McIntyre and Jey Uso. McIntyre stated his reasons why he turned on Uso and Cody Rhodes last week blaming both the crowd and his lingering issues with Uso costing him the chance at winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at last year’s Clash at the Castle event in front of his home crowd. McIntyre also stated that he has not officially joined Judgement Day itself but will be on their team for the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series 2023.

This led to Uso coming out to interrupt and after some banter, McIntyre & Judgement Day and Uso, Cody, Rhodes, Sami Zayn, & Seth Rollins confronted each other. Before a brawl could break out, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce came out and put an end to things. Pearce stated to Uso, Rhodes, Zayn, and Rollins that they need to find a fifth member for their team and had until the end of tonight’s show to officially reveal this person.

Randy Orton Makes Surprise Return at Monday’s RAW Show & Joins Cody Rhodes’ Team for Men’s WarGames Match
Monday’s RAW show in Grand Rapids also featured Randy Orton making his surprise return from injury and officially joining Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, & Seth Rollin’s team for the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series 2023.
This was initially setup following Drew McIntyre announcing during his show opening promo that he joined Judgement Day’s team for the Men’s WarGames match giving them a man advantage over Rhodes, Zayn, Uso, & Rollins team.
In a follow-up segment, Uso persuaded Rollins to allow him to face off against McIntyre to determine which teams gets the advantage for WarGames since McIntyre has the most beef with him out of everyone in their team. Zayn then brought to attention that they still needed to find another member for their team, which Rhodes stated that he knows an old friend that he can call to see if this person wants to join their team.

Following McIntyre’s victory over Uso to give his team the advantage in the Men’s WarGames match, McIntyre and Judgement Day proceeded to attack Uso. This led to Rhodes, Zayn, and Rollins running out with chairs and attacking McIntyre and Judgement Day clearing them out of the ring. Rhodes then grabbed a microphone and mentioned that their mystery fifth partner was someone who had a “Legacy” with him and was an “Apex Predator.” Rhodes then confirmed that this person was indeed Randy Orton. The show closed with neither Orton’s music nor himself actually showing up.
