Jeff Jarrett Underwent Dental Surgery to Remove Molar

A recent episode of the My World with Jeff Jarrett podcast featured co-host Jeff Jarrett revealing that he recently underwent dental surgery to remove a molar that had been causing him some pain of late.

“I had woke up yesterday morning, it kind of bothered me through the weekend, but I had a very very back molar that had to go. I never had a cavity in my life. I always had good luck there. It was just a tooth had to go. I had an implant put in. We talked root canal and all kinds of stuff and [the dentist], ‘What’s your schedule this week?’ I said, ‘Oh, I fly to Portland, Oregon tomorrow.’ He said. ‘Okay, when you get back from that. I said, ‘Oh I’m not sure about this weekend. It’s very possible I could go to Oakland. Not real sure’ He said, ‘What about next week?’ I said, ‘Oh, that’d be Ontario and LA.’ We know each other well, and he goes, ‘So, you don’t have anything really in the foreseeable future?’ I said no and I said, ‘Let’s go for it. Just get it out,’ and he said, ‘Are you up for it?’ I said, Let’s do a whole ball of wax.”

Jarrett also jokingly gave his thoughts about being hopeful that his opponents in matches will try to target his teeth thinking its a new weak point only to find out he does not have a glass jaw.

“I hope they do because there’s one thing ‘The Last Outlaw’ doesn’t have and that’s a glass jaw. So let them take their best shot.”

Will Ospreay Comments on Working at AEW All In Event Being “Coolest Thing I’ve Ever Done”

Comicbook.com held a recent interview with Will Ospreay. One of the topics discussed included Ospreay’s thoughts about competing at AEW’s All In event at Wembley Stadium this past August being the “coolest thing” he’s ever done in his wrestling career.

“Oh man, I was scared (Ospreay said about AEW All In). I just remember feeling like I’ve done it now. The maximum I’ve ever performed in front of was 40,000 at Wrestle Kingdom. This was twice as many. I was worried that my stuff was going to get lost, or not as big of a reaction as what it could get. Maybe I’m not the guy that they really want in this position. Maybe it should have gone to someone else. That’s all going through my mind.

The moment the music was playing, just that bit of the piano, I could just feel my heart coming out of my chest. So flipping scared. Family’s here, everyone is here just wanting to just enjoy wrestling in England, wrestling of this caliber and stage.

Going out and hearing people sing my song… man… I literally heard people screaming it and then pointing up to the sky and when the fireworks were going off, just watching it, it felt like two minutes. It felt like everything was going in slow motion. Then to get in the ring and the bell rung and then just 80,000 people do the olé! chants. Oh man, it was just the coolest thing. It was the coolest thing I’ve ever done.”

Megan Bayne AEW Contract Signing Status Update

As noted before, Stardom and indies talent Megan Bayne has been signed to an official contract with AEW since earlier this year.

Fightful Select reported that their sources recently clarified some details regarding Bayne’s signing with AEW.

Those within AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling reportedly spoken to had confirmed that Bayne had been signed with AEW for a long time. Those same sources also confirmed that Bayne had been sent to Stardom for some work.

Stardom reportedly had reached out to Bayne a long while ago but she was injured at the time and was still being paid by AEW. Bayne reportedly returned from her injury to AEW this past June and had been encouraged by AEW officials to seek work outside of the company, which led to her current work for Stardom.
