Sonny Kiss Clarifies Current Status with Impact

As noted before, former AEW talent Sony Kiss made her official debut for Impact Wrestling at their Bound For Glory 2023 event earlier this month.

A recent episode of the Women’s Wrestling Talk podcast featured Kiss as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Kiss revealing that she is currently not signed to a contract with Impact and instead is still a free agent.

“Well, let me just already start you off with I am not signed to IMPACT Wrestling. Yeah, let me just give that disclaimer right now (Sonny laughed).”

Kiss also gave her thoughts about the process that led to her official debut for Impact at their Bound For Glory 2023 event.

“So Tommy Dreamer, good friend of mine, always loved him. He has been such a shining light in my life and in my career for a long time. Since way back when Sonny Kiss was first a thing, you know? Since I first got on the indies. So he’s always been there, and some kind of guidance. Helping me out, giving me ideas, telling me to try certain things and I did Busted Open… So I did the podcast and then Tommy was like, ‘Text me after this’ and guess what I did? I texted him after that and we talked about it and he was like, ‘The entire staff thinks you’ll be great for the Call Your Shot’ and I said, ‘Yes sir. Sign me up for it. I would love that’ and then, it happened and it was a wonderful experience. The IMPACT locker room is absolutely amazing. Great, really great place to work. I really enjoyed everyone there. So professional, everyone was so kind and so sweet. It was a great locker room.”

Laurel Middle School Honors Late Jay Briscoe with Renaming Locker Room After Him

As noted before, Jay Briscoe, real name Jamin Pugh, passed away this past January following a car accident in Delaware that also claimed the life of another person and left Briscoe’s two daughters hospitalized for several weeks.

The Laurel School District recently announced on Facebook that the Laurel Middle School will be officially renaming their locker room to the “Jamin Pugh Locker Room” in honor of Pugh and his family’s continued dedication to the school district.

During Halftime of the Laurel Vs Delmar Football Game, a special memorial dedication was presented to the Pugh family in honor of Jamin Pugh. The Laurel Middle School locker room will be renamed the “Jamin Pugh Locker Room”. Current Card for NJPW Lonestar Shootout 2023

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced several new matches and updated card for their Lonestar Shootout 2023 event, which takes place on November 10th at the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, Texas.

It was also announced that Lonestar Shootout 2023 will air live on FITE TV starting at 8:00PM EST.
