MLW Antitrust Lawsuit Agianst WWE Update
As noted before, Major League Wrestlingβs original antitrust lawsuit against WWE was dismissed this past February and had filed a new amended lawsuit this past March.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that a court hearing which had been scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 26th before The United States District Court California Northern District (San Jose) California was cancelled on October 17th based on recent court records.
This hearing reportedly was originally meant to determining whether or not WWE’s defenses against MLW’s amended lawsuit will stand scrutiny before the court and be allowed to proceed.
The court ruled that presiding Judge Edward J. Davila will instead now issue a ruling determining if MLW’s amended lawsuit will proceed based on the previous motions and arguments filed by both MLW and WWE.
