Bryan Danielson Comments on Swerve Strickland Being “That Next Level of Great”

Sports Nightly held a recent interview with Bryan Danielson. One of the topics discussed included Danielson’s thoughts about his recent match against Swerve Strickland at this past Tuesday’s AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday show.

“I also wanna say, so this last Tuesday was the first time I had ever been in the ring with Swerve (Strickland) and I’d watched him wrestling before and he’s just — he’s that next level of great… Seeing him is one thing, being in the ring with him is a completely different thing, but that dude is something special.”

Danielson also gave his thoughts about William Regal’s departure from AEW in late 2022.

“Some of the things that have also been really cool and really fun in this period that I’ve been in AEW are some of the surprises. Like William Regal coming to AEW and being part of the Blackpool Combat Club… There was a time period where I didn’t know if I’d ever see him again and then I got to see him every single week and we got to drive together and we’d come in and we’d show up early and we help train people together and that sort of thing and so when he left, it was sad for me, personally, but I was grateful that I got to spend that time with him, right?”

CJ Perry Comments on Miro Being Reason for Her Joining AEW

Fightful held a recent interview with CJ Perry. One of the topics discussed included Perry’s thoughts about her recent debut in AEW at this past September’s All Out 2023 event and Miro being the one responsible for her joining the company.

“The time is now. Well, definitely subscribe to CJPerry.com so you can get the full tea, all of it. I think it was a timing thing. This was always a discussion. Miro’s been plotting this out for a really long time, talking about his Hot & Flexible wife, for probably two years now and wanting to bring me in. It was just a timing thing. I had a lot of other things going on, a couple of different projects. It was just figuring out the timing and the timing was right. All of it was his idea, to be honest. All of it was his idea. I’m just hired talent right now.”

Perry also gave her thoughts about her return to wrestling and getting to work in AEW.

“Super excited. I love wrestling so much. I love the world of wrestling. There’s nothing like it. I’ve discussed this so many times with you of how the energy in the arena and the fans, oh, my gosh. I truly miss the wrestling world so much. Last year I would be going as a fan to WWE and AEW events just because I love the world of wrestling. So it’s really exciting to be back in the world of wrestling and it’s very exciting to work for AEW scouting talent, looking for talent to make the next champion.”

Julia Hart & Lee Johnson Got Married This Past Weekend

As noted before, Julia Hart and Lee Johnson were recently granted time off from AEW for their upcoming marriage this month and honeymoon.

AEW and Ring of Honor talent Capt. Shawn Dean recently revealed on Twitter that Hart and Johnson were married this past Friday.
