Yuya Uemura Leaving Impact Wrestling
Thursday’s Impact 1000 Week 2 show for Impact Wrestling in White Plains, New York featured the briefcase results from last week’s Feast or Fried match at Impact 1000 Week 1 show. The winners of this match were Crazzy Steve, Moose, Chris Bey, and Yuya Uemura.
In a backstage segment on the show, Busted Open Radio co-host Dave LaGreca was the official guest host for the Feast or Fired briefcase contents reveal.
Crazzy Steve’s case revealed him to receive a title shot for the Impact Digital Media Championship, Moose’s case revealed him to receive a title shot for the Impact World Championship, and Bey’s case revealed him and Ace Austin to receive a title shot for the Impact World Tag Team Championship.
As a result of those three getting title shots, this meant that Uemura was guaranteed to have the case containing his firing notice, which Uemura confirmed when he opened up his case.
