- Near the end of the match, Yoshinobu Kanemaru made a surprise return from injury and ran out to put a stop to House of Torture’s attack to Just Five Guys at ringside and SHO’s cheating antics against Taichi. Kanemaru confronted SHO but then suddenly turned towards Taichi and gave a Satori Surprise mist attack to his eyes. Kanemaru then ripped off his Just Five Guys shirt to reveal a House of Torture shirt underneath it and him as the group’s newest member. After the match, Kanemaru and the rest of HoT continued their attack on Just Five Guys.

- Following the match, Zack Sabre Jr. came out interrupting Ospreay’s post-match speech to the crowd and challenged him for the IWGP U.S. title at next month’s Royal Quest III event at the Copper Box in London, England. Ospreay agreed and after a brief scuffle with neither guy managing to get the upper hand, Sabre Jr. left and Orpeasy finished his post-match speech.
