Impact Wrestling held television tapings for their Impact 1000 episode on Saturday at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York.
This upcoming episode will air on September 14th on AXS TV.
In regards to notable moments from the tapings, Rohit Raju, Mickie James, and Tasha Steelz all made their surprise returns at the tapings. Raju reunited with Champagne Singh as the Desi Hit Squad to face Team 3D (Bully Ray & Devon) in a tag team match. James was revealed to be the mystery tag team partner for Trinity, Jordynne Grace, Gail Kim, & Awesome Kong’s team for the 10-Knockouts Tag Team match. Steelz was revealed to be the mystery tag team partner for Angelina Love, Deonna Purrazzo, Savannah Evans, & Gisele Shaw’s team for the 10-Knockouts Tag Team match.
In regards to this year’s Impact Hall of Fame class, it was announced that Traci Brooks will be the third member of this year’s class joining Mike Tenay and Don West.

In regards to titles changing hands at the tapings, Chris Sabin defeated Lio Rush to be crowned the new Impact X-Division Champion.

- Impact President Scott D’Amore gave an in-ring promo mentioning how Team Canada opened up the first ever episode of Impact and praised Impact’s Knockouts Division before introducing Gail Kim. Kim stated how special the Knockouts division is and had a video aired showing off some of the greatest moments from the division in Impact history. Following the end of the video, the Beautiful People interrupted stating that the clips of them were great but the rest was just filled with ugly people. After some banter between Kim and the Beautiful People, Gisele Shaw, Jai Vidal, & Savannah Evans came out. Shaw stated that she wanted to welcome back the Beautiful People and praised them saying that if it was not for them, there would be no Shaw and felt honored to take their spot and improve it. After Love and Sky asked who was so great from her generation, Jordynne Grace came out to interrupt and listed several past Knockouts stars such as ODB, Tara, Traci Brooks, and Kim, This led to Deonna Purrazzo, Trinity, Awesome Kong & Raisha Saeed, Tasha Steelz, and Mickie James all coming out to interrupt each other and setup the 10-Knockouts Tag Team match.
- Team 3D (Bully Ray & Devon) defeated Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju & Champagne Singh) by pinfall via 3D.
- Josh Alexander gave an in-ring promo saying he’s proud to be a fan of Impact Wrestling for the past 21 years and he’s here to make things right over him never losing his Impact World title. This led to current Impact World Champion Alex Shelley coming out to interrupt and gave a heelish promo taking offense to what Alexander had just said and demanded to be shown the respect he deserves as champion. After some back and forth banter, the Rascalz came out and attacked Alexander while Shelley walked away.
- Traci Brooks & Frankie Kazarian defeated Alisha & Eddie Edwards by pinfall via Dead Eye.
- Impact X-Division Championship – Chris Sabin defeated Lio Rush (c) by pinfall via Cradle Shock
- Jake Something defeated Dirty Dango via Into The Void
- Eric Young defeated Kenny King by disqualification. Scott D’Amore came out alongside Young and Jean came out alongside King for their corners. During the very brief match, Jean attacked Young causing the bell to be run for the disqualification. This led to Shark Boy coming out and gave a promo saying that as the Deputy Director of Authority he would be making an impromptu tag team match featuring all four guys in the ring.
- Team Canada (Eric Young & Scott D’Amore) defeated Sheldon Jean & Kenny King by disqualification. This match lasted even less time than the prior match after The Design came out and attacked Team Canada for the disqualification result. Shark Boy came out for a second time and made an impromptu 8-Man Tag Team match and revealed America’s Most Wanted as Team Canada’s tag team partners.
- Team Canada (Eric Young & Scott D’Amore) & America’s Most Wanted (James Storm & Chris Harris) defeated Sheldon Jean, Kenny King, & The Design (Kon & Deaner) by pinfall via Piledriver
- Josh Alexander defeated Zachary Wentz by pinfall via C4 Spike. Following the match, Alexander and Alex Shelley gave a promo trading insults at each other and making their match for the Impact World Championship official at next month’s Bound For Glory 2023 event.
- 10-Knockouts Tag Team match – Awesome Kong, Gail Kim, Mickie James, Jordynne Grace, & Trinity defeated Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans, Deonna Purrazzo, Tasha Steelz, & Angelina Love by pinfall via Implant Buster
- Rhino & Tommy Dreamer defeated Moose & Brian Myers via Gore
