Ricky Starks vs. Wheeler Yuta Announced for AEW WrestleDream
Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Broomfield, Colorado featured one new match officially announced for the card of AEW WrestleDream, which takes place on October 1st at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.
This new match announced is a singles match of Ricky Starks vs. Wheeler Yuta.
This match was setup following a taped backstage segment after this past Saturday’s AEW Collision show involving Starks, Big Bill, and Yuta. Starks reflected about his Texas Death Match against Danielson on the show and claiming that he is still better than Danielson because he did submit despite his loss. Yuta then showed up and interrupted saying that Starks just likes to always moans and complains. Yuta then challenged Starks to a match at WrestleDream. Following the segment, AEW announcer Excalibur stated that the match was made official for the event.
