Nick Aldis Comments on His In-Ring Career Not Being Finished
As noted before, former NWA and Impact Wrestling talent Nick Aldis is currently working under a producer tryout for WWE since earlier this month.
A recent episode of the Niko Knows Best podcast featured Aldis as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Aldis’ thoughts about him not being retired from in-ring wrestling despite his current work as a producer only for WWE.
“Because of the discussions about a different role, immediately it jumps to, ‘Oh, he’s not wrestling anymore, he’s retiring, is he done wrestling?’ Hold on. I’m 36 years old. Maybe another blessing and curse in my career is that I got started on a national/international stage very early in my career. I was signed at 21. Sometimes, I get put in the generation ahead of me in terms of age. I’m 36. I’m very much in my prime. Wait a minute, where is all this discussion about being done wrestling come from? Everyone needs to chill.”

Tetsuya Naito Comments on Future of His Career & Upcoming Retirement
New Japan Pro Wrestling’s official website held a recent interview with Tetsuya Naito. One of the topics discussed included Naito’s thoughts about the future of his wrestling career and retirement being something that has come into focus for him.
“I said as much on the mic, but I hate the word ‘forever’. Time waits for no man, after all. I heard that talk when I watched the match back on World. But to give the flip side to that comment, I was at Ryogoku as a fan when Chono [Masahiro Chono] won his last (in 2005), and backstage when Tanahashi [Hiroshi Tanahashi] won his last (2018). I think if you put Chono at 41 against Tanahashi at 41 and me at 41, I’m better than them, and I have more in the tank.
Well, if you watch those other matches back, they’re a lot less mobile at that point than I am now, I reckon. I definitely feel I have a lot further to go yet. At the same time, I know my time is limited. I have knee troubles, eye troubles. The end of the line, that image of retirement that was so far away for so long is now coming into focus a little. But I think that’s just another reason to enjoy where I am as a wrestler and to live in the now, right now. I need to make the most of every moment. That’s not just in the ring, either. Being in the gym, it’s a big motivator for me to push harder, knowing I can’t afford to delay anything.”
Kimber Lee Reportedly Scheduled for Court Hearing This October Over DUI Arrest Earlier This Year
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that former WWE NXT and Impact Wrestling talent Kimber Lee, real name Kimberly Frankele, is currently scheduled to attend a court hearing this October regarding a DUI arrest this past May.
Johnson reported that Lee’s upcoming pre-trial hearing is currently scheduled to take place on October 24th in Highlands County Court based on recent court records. This hearing reportedly stemmed from Lee being arrested on May 11th in Serbing, Florida following a DUI incident that also included charges of Resisting an Office with Violence and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer.
In the police report, officer P.J. Roberts stated that he noticed that traffic on the Northbound lane was stopped despite there being a green light. Roberts also stated that he noticed a vehicle belonging to Lee was facing the wrong direction stopped in the roadway. In his attempt to approach the car, Lee drove off and had “almost collided with the face of the guard rail.” Lee was stated to have continued on failing to stop until her car made its way to a parking space at a shopping center. During his stop of Lee’s car, Roberts stated that Lee had “blood shot watery eyes, and she slurred as she spoke” and despite him explaining to her why he pulled her over, Lee kept “forgetting why and asked me several times when (sic) I was messing with her.”
Roberts also stated that he had attempted several times to obtain Lee’s driver’s license before finally being given it and she had tried to “several times” to leave the area claiming she needed to get her laundry from a laundry mat. Roberts responded back stating that she was not allowed to leave and remain in her vehicle since she was suspected of being under the influence.
In the report, Roberts stated that when he tried to put handcuffs on Lee, she struck him in the chest resulting in him explaining to her that she was now under arrest for battery of an officer. Lee was stated to continue resisting arrest and continued to attack the officer resulting in him suffering injuries which only stopped after another office had arrived on the scene.
Johnson reported that Lee had entered a plea of not guilty to all charges on July 7th and had waived her right for a speedy trial. Kee reportedly also filed and was approved to have a public defender for her case.
Johnson reported that Lee is currently facing the possibility of up to five to ten years in prison if convicted of the third degree felonies against her.
